I am not afraid to say I am a right win Republican but I can't because it is not true. I am an independent conservative libertarian. I have, to a point, agreed with some things the liberals have said. I have agreed President Bush spent too much, inversely I believe that President Obama has over spent as well. Why can't liberals admit that President Obama has over spent and in some cases, misspent? That is just one example.
I do evaluate everything the same. I put as much weight on something from a right wing blog as I put on something from a left wing blog.
Again you spew the untruth. Obama has not even come close to Bush on spending. Why is it you conservatives NEVER bring up the days of Reagan when spending is the discussion? Reagan was the 1st POTUS to drive the federal deficit over 1 trillion dollars. And its gone out of sight since. Clinton spent less

Guest ii,

I guess you consider it a lie when the CBO and GAO posts numbers that say that you are wrong. How about this one, the Obama administration is the first presidency to run a $1 trillion, that is right, a year deficit of $1,000,000,000,000 for a total of four consecutive years. Look up the debt clock. Watch the numbers spin.

Here is another interesting point. The Obama Administration has never cut spending, instead it is increasing taxes. It just got a big tax increase that included a 2% raise on you and me and now it is seeking more tax hikes.

lol
The more names you use, the dumber you sound, Gene.

CBO predicts Obama will "hopefully" run less then a trillion dollar deficit this year for the first time as president. He's spent over 5 trillion more than he has taken in so far.

Now we find out 7 million Americans are going to lose their healthcare plans, after being promised that would not happen…..

Obama is nothing but a pathetic liar. But then, that was obvious from the get-go.

and your answer to accepting what Bush left over was? So if the Obama administration decided not to do what they did, would that be a step forward to help the economy or just dig it deeper. As a business owner, you have to spend money to make money. Its called checks and balances. Some times you win, some time you dont.
I honestly dont see any other way to assume the turmoil that the Obama administration assumed could have done any better than NOT to do what they did.

Another issue with you and yours alike is blame game. If McCain had won and did the exact same thing that Obama has, then all we would hear is excuses. Face the facts finally. Bush ruined this country into a oblivion, and by attempting to make excuses for his horrendous mistakes just makes you guys look that much worse than what you already perceived to be. Comrade although needs no excuse. He simply hates black people, women and Latinos.

You ignorant fool!
I don't suppose you have the sense to look at what Hillary has accomplished in her 4 years as Secretary of State & make a judgment on your own. Obviously, you can't think for yourself - therefore, you must rely on a "the right-wing propaganda machine" to do your thinking for you.
Now, if I provided you with a left-wing source - you would quickly dismiss it.
However, if I provided you with a right-wing source - you would still question & deny it - because it would go against your radical right-wing talking points.
So, it would be pointless to provide any source to you.
But, let me ask you one question - why do you think so many INTELLIGENT Republicans are saying that Hillary might be one of the best Secretaries of State this country has ever had???
It's people like you - THE STUPID ONES, who are responsible for the Republicans LOSING THE ELECTION on Nov. 6...

I can see you misunderstood what I was saying. I admitted that President Bush overspent and started the ball rolling. However I have also said that President Obama not only kept the balling rolling, he kicked the hell out of it to keep it going. That sounds to me that I am equally blaming both sides of the coin.

Perhaps instead of spending, we do need to look at serious cuts across the board. Perhaps if we were to cut the spending, would surpluses to spend in on reducing the deficit.

you mentioned small business owners. There are times that they need to raise prices on the goods and services that they sell. At other times, they know if they raise their prices they no one will buy so they had to cut their spending.

To continue the analog just a bit further, when does the government cut its spending instead of continuously raising the taxes? You tell me. And please don't give me that lame line about cutting the military. I admit that there are certain cuts and changes that could be made there but the spending on social service program almost matches military spending dollar for dollar

Do you agree that we should take things away from you on behalf of the common good
because it's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, and for
the few and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity, because we can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken
away from some people. Also, we have to build a political consensus and that requires people to
give up a little bit of their own ... in order to create this common ground.
Some think the free-market has failed and think it's time to send a clear message
to what has become the most profitable sector in the entire economy that they are being watched.

I was so hoping that I could get feedback from Alumni 61 on my last post. I was afraid that I had probably written too much for her to comprehend at one time. Oh, I forgot, she will not comment on stupid posts or those she doesn't have a good hate statement to make.

I would imagine. I can understand why!!

I can't stop laughing. You must be tired.

They didn't ask them to leave when I went to the tea party meeting in Fla. in 2010 and all kind of names where called. There were some bad poster there too. The one that stands out the most was a poster that said "IF YOUR NOT WHITE YOUR NOT RIGHT"

Of course no one died when I was there.

LOL totally wrong I agree but this is EXACTLY what the Tea Party stands for and does. How many rallies have we seen with people across the nation holding posters with racial comments on them? Nearly every Tea Party rally. They've called Obama names like many of the Tea Billies in here have. Name calling is about all they have left to fight with.

You see, that is part of the problem here. A few incidents have been used to paint the entire Tea Party. Then when you factor in the liberal hatred of the Tea Party because of its desire to have smaller government, less spending and less governmental intervention in our lives with over regulation coming out of governmental agencies and the powder keg is built.

I have attended a couple of Tea Parties rallies to see what the commotion was about it. I saw a well run and well policed event. Yes, a few came and tried to infiltrate rally with inappropriate material. They were asked to leave and when they refused, they were escorted out.

You have talked about racism. Question: Have you ever heard about the story about a man carrying an M-16 at a Tea Party rally? You have? Good. How many times have you heard that it was a black man?

Let's be totally honest and face the facts here. Is the left totally correct, no. Is the left totally wrong, no. Is the right totally correct, no. Is the right totally wrong, no. The answers to our problems is some where in the middle. However, we will never reach those answers until we stop calling each other names, until we stop making baseless organizations, until we accept that each side has piece of the answer without having the total answer, until we stop partisan bickering, and we learn to compromise
