Obamaism Will Fail Because Socialism Always Does

The people who believe in it cannot tell you what their real plans are. That's why the Democrats have not done a budget. The reason, the sole reason Democrats have not done a budget is to hide their true intentions. There have been some other reasons. Not doing a budget allows them to accomplish more of what they want, because they're doing it on the sly. You know, they're doing it in the dark, under the cover of darkness, and they're doing it crisis to crisis to crisis to crisis. But it's dishonest. It's like Reagan said about the Soviet Union. They're gonna implode of their own immorality. And he was right.

It eventually will happen to every communist or socialist setup. Now, some last longer than others. Even North Korea, at some point -- may not be in our lifetime -- but that's gonna blow up. Cuba's gonna blow up. The ChiComs are engaged in a shell game right now. The ChiComs wouldn't be where they are if it weren't for capitalism. They can't admit it so they're trying to keep communist control over as much of their society as they can.

The biggest fear that the ChiComs have is the people that live out in the country want to move to the cities. The ChiCom challenge, they've gotta create jobs in the countryside to keep the peasants there. If they overrun the cities looking for work, there's big trouble. But the ChiCom solution, the ChiCom route to economic power has been capitalism. So that's why I'm not going anywhere. It is gonna happen. It is gonna implode. It can't do anything other than that. As I say, it's what happens in the meantime. Just how damaged is the country going to be? And the potential for damage is great. I mean, real havoc is being reeked here. This country is being divided purposely along racial lines and class lines.

I find it really stunning. We are going backwards in this country. We are separating people by class. We are separating people by race. We are not encouraging people to do better. We are not inspiring people to be the best they can be. We are essentially acknowledging that people are not very good and don't have much hope. Well, not "we." The Obama people are thriving by telling their voters who they ought to hate, who they ought to oppose, who they ought to try to eliminate, wipe out, in a political sense, and it's all based on race or other forms of ethnicity. It's terrible. And now the Gallup poll is out and we've lost our optimism. And I don't think it's a coincidence.

The level of optimism in this country is at a low not seen since 1979, Jimmy Carter. Only 39% of the people in this country are optimistic about the country. Now, I checked the e-mail when I mentioned this in the first hour or second hour. People sent me e-mail, "Well, how do you explain Obama being reelected?" It makes perfect sense. If you're sitting out there and you're in a defeatist frame of mind, and you have no hope for the future, then you vote for the guy who's telling you that there's a way of dealing with all this and that he's in the process of fixing it or making it fair or what you have. But I think it makes perfect sense that the lowest level of optimism since 1979 would result in Obama being reelected.

Comrade, it's noble of you to finally own up to coping & pasting (some of the garbage you post on Topix) from the CRAZIEST CRAZY of them all - ole RUSH LIMBAUGH! This certainly expains a lot about your warped thinking.

Obviously, you & the rest of the right-wing propaganda machine do not know - THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WAS FOUNDED ON BOTH SOCIALIST & CAPITALISTS PROGRAMS!

Since, you & the right-wingers are so misinformed about the basis on which our country was founded - I have tried to spell it all out for you on a new thread I just posted. It is entitled, "Were Our Founding Fathers Socialists".

You would do well to read, study & ponder this information - because, it might just wake you up a bit and set you on the right track...

You're simply ignorant, or you have no idea what the word 'founded' means.

There were no 'socialist', or even quasi-socialist programs in the country until Woodrow Wilson, but the giant dive into the socialist cess pool was the Social Security Act, which became the law of the land in 1935 under another socialist president, Roosevelt.

Maybe, maybe not. If I am still eligible by the time it comes around, it will be such a nominal sum, it'll not be worth the effort to cash the check. I think anyone with a chance of getting out of the SSI system should do so as soon as possible.

Most people don't even have a clue that the first "S" in SSI doesn't even mean 'social'; it means supplemental, as in you had better make other plans for your old age.

Far Away, What do you think of changing the eligibility age to 70?

Fine with me; raise it incrementally to 70 over, say, the next 15-20 years so people can make plans accordingly, and lock in anyone within ten years of the current 62 years of age in the calendar year in which such a law would be passed.

Alumni,

I don't understand something about you. You automatically shut out anything said by anyone who you don't agree with. Let me see I can get you to understand something.

Rush Limbaugh is a very successful political commentator and nothing more. He is not the Anti-Christ or some sort of a demon. He is a man who has his opinions on things and he makes a living expressing those opinions to an audience.

The left, as it does with anyone who disagrees with them, has demonized him making him out to be the Anti-Christ or a demon spawn of hell. he is just a man. I know of some of his opinions and while I agree with some, I disagree with a like amount of his opinions.

This country is broken and fractured. The extreme left and the extreme right. Evey day they claw and scratch and hiss and how at each other. Each tries to demonize the other side and in all of this common sense is being forgotten.

Is the left totally wrong, no. Is the right totally wrong, no. The truth is that the solution is somewhere in the middle. Blending the correct points of both sides into a central program with a great deal of common sense is the obvious answer but neither side can see that, all they can think of is destroying the other side. Milton was right. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Please consider two potential proposals that I would like to see.

Social services:

What if we put this power where I believe the Constitution says it should it be, with each state. According to HHS ( http://aspe.hhs.gov/hsp/social-welfare-spendi... ?. in 2000 the federal government spent a total 1,424,900,000 on social services programs and social service education and other programs.

So, let's tackle this from the top with Social Security and Medicare. This is a program that mus t be kept at the federal level. There are two big changes that are needed here. First all taxes related to Social Security and Medicare must be placed in the Social Security trust fund and not the general fund as it is now. Once there, that money may only be spent on Social Security and Medicare related expenditures. We can also establish a plan to return all funds diverted from the Social Security trust to the general fund. Second, we must establish a strong fraud enforcement division to stop the fraud and abuse of the system.

Second. Instead of the federal government spend $1,424,900,000 as was done in 2000, we give each state a block grant of say $3 to $5 billion dollars to each state. Each state has its own problems to deal with. Give them the cash and let them spend it on social programs as it sees fit. This will also cut out the massive bureaucracy and lower the cost of operating the government. We also push for each state to have a strong fraud enforcement division to stop payments to the fakes and frauds and to stop payment to illegal aliens in this country. If we were to do this, we would save hundreds of billions if not a trillion dollars of federal spending.

That is two ideas I had. There is room for compromise and there can still be significant changes.

Doe the same things can be said the opposite way. The irony is that we the people actually listen of watch these people as some categorize them as experts. They are drama queen smut magazine talk show hosts. I will never forget the day when Dr Phil's wife had a ex parte put against him, LOL....and he's a "expert" on marriage counseling?

You wont find that story in the media.

I tuned out of the news media whores. Use to love to watch Limbaugh on his TV show, until he beat the Clinton issue like a dead horse. It got old, he went extreme, he allowed the bigotry and racist comments to influx his opinion and then...he became a big bag of hot air just like they all eventually do. Guy makes $33 million on bashing people. LOL, they pay this Oxycontin loving wind bag that much??
