No, I DID NOT!

I just turned 70 a month ago (yesterday).

If I had been married 57 years, that would mean I would have got married when I was 13! I don't believe that was legal (even with a parents consent - even back then).

Some of them don't act like their married! Y'all could have left Greg moss and his wife out of it, considering he's cheated the whole time. She just lets him do whatever as long as he comes home at night! Its sad. Wish she would have found someone better!

I thought everyone knew who you were - you talked about your family, names included, way back when I was recalling incidents concerning your family - your 3 brothers names' aren't all that common - your dad is the only one I ever knew with his name - if someone really wanted to know who you are, they could go back to earlier "religious" posts and figure it out - anyway, I will keep your "secret" - oh, it's ironic that you mentioned alligators and duck dynasty - if the "dispute" is settled, you will see an episode about alligators - someone will get one as a gift - not sure if the alligator farm that sold them the "pet" will be shown or not - stay tuned!!

did you grow up in c'ville - if, so, i'm surprised you don't know who she is - age could make a difference and the part of town you grew up in may also make a difference - she was from the West Side, although she never attended west side elementary -

Tiger High,
Yes, in my early years of posting on C'ville Topix - I had no problems about mentioning my identy - but as time went by - and some C'ville posters became so mean & nasty in their attacks on me - I stopped mentioning my real identy. I'm sure several posters on this forum know who I am - but, I am no longer comfortable revealing my identy on this forum.

Speaking of Duck Dynasty - for the last few weeks the show has been on Wednesday & Sunday nights here. However, it wasn't on tonight (even though our local TV guide had it listed). Could Dynasty's dispute about salaries be the reason it wasn't on tonight?

I'm sorry you weren't involved in providing Duck Dynasty the alligator for the episode you mention. But, just hang in there & we might yet see your smiling face on a reality show. Why don't you come up with an idea for a Alligator farm reality show & try to make contact with the producers of Duck Dynasty & run the idea by them.

I know you had mentioned this awhile back. Seems like several reality shows nowdays are based in Louisana. There's something about Louisana & the culture that just seems to fascinates people.

Sucker!!!- my wife is from ohio - she wanted to go back at first, but said she would give la a chance - she is now used to wild hogs tearing up our back yard, coral snakes, mosquitos as big as a sparrow, eatin crawdads,a husband who smells like alligator bait/food, the term 'ole lady', men and women who don't bath during deer season (some bathe in the spring/summer only), Cajun spice in all her food, makin jambalya (end of week take everything left in your frig and put in the the big black cast iron pot - many use stainless now, but I still prefer cast iron), nothing but one syllable (sp) words, bad spelling!, cars up on blocks throughout the neighbor hood (neighborhood being an entire parish)and being made fun of for living in la when she goes to ohio for a visit!!! gotta love it, man - Louisiana was the last place God made - he knew he couldn't make anything any better!!- 4 times a year our little village of 492 goes over to the Methodist church parking lot (biggest in town), puts all the cookers together for a weekend party - fish, jambalya, alligator, wild hog, deer, turkey and a few things people probably aren't aware of. music out the wazoo - Cajun, gospel and anything anyone wants to hear or play - there is a pentecostal church that has more good singers than any place I have seen - pretty much the whole town is there, black and white - we stumbled onto a place where god is great, beer and food are good and most of us are crazy - praise the lord

still working on it - our village chief of police, as I mentioned before, is very good friends with phil - we hear that the dispute is "verbally" settled with robertsons getting what they asked for - think the producers asked for 2 additional seasons with no $$$ increases and all agreed - we'll see later - the chief is one of the owners of the farm!!! would like for you, gene and mclemore come on down so we could use you for bait er, I mean show you how to feed alligators - ole numbs here would be your teacher!!!!(<;
