It has been alleged that FDR. the great Democrat who gave us Social Security, welfare and other socialist programs, knew that the attack on Pearl harbor was coming and did nothing to alert the military or otherwise try to stop. His reason for this was supposed to be that he want the United States to enter WWII against fascists.

Now I can't say if this is true or not but a lot of people believe it.

Okay, I've had my laugh here. Let's be serious. There are trillion and one conspiracy theories out there and all of them have thin, flimsy streaks of fact to prove the conspiracy. I'm willing to be that a trillion of those conspiracies are false.

What do you say we stop the BS and talk, fairly and openly, about real problems facing our nation

you can laugh all you want john doe but i for one believe that this government would stoop low enough to do that .how bout this bit of information the military in iraq and afghanastan would drop leaflets from their planes to some of the poorest people on the planet offering reward for people that were supposedly terrorest .now all these people had to do was point a finger at someone they didnt like and the military would pick them up.it didnt matter who they was .there were doctors and all sorts of people that got thrown in prison to get tortured.pretty lame woulnt you say.and fdr did know the japanese was coming after he let them attack guess what they had all the japanese american people here put in conentration camps like hitler did.

What's the matter Alumni? Isn't this what you have done time and time again? The only difference is that I gave the websites to "back up" what I said.

I guess it is okay for you to make innuendos and talk about crazy conspiracy theories when it involves the right but if it involves the left, you become indignant. Why?

Fedup,

Dropping leaflets on the enemy is an old psyops trick that has been going for almost as long as man has been using flying machines as weapons of war and it can be effective.

You talk about leaflets dropped on poor people offering rewards for fingering members of the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

That tactic can work providing those poor are not so scared of the Taliban and Al Qaeda to do it. When they are, then the leaflets are worthless except as toilet paper.

I think that the doctor you are referring to is the one who helped us to get Bin Lauden. After word he was abandoned, the Pakistanis arrested him and have put him in prison. The current administration has done nothing to help him. Regrettably that sends a bad message, help us and you're on your own.

As far as the conspiracies out there, there too many to count. I even believe there is one out there that says Lincoln was not shot by Booth but instead by politicians who wanted to punish the south for the Civil War and Lincoln would not allow it. I honestly can say that while those perpetuating those conspiracies have done an excellent job of finding just enough thin, weak facts to sound plausible, I don't believe any of them.

What do you do 61 Alum, stuff cotton in your ears so you cannot hear yourself think. Are you afraid to read or see or hear something that might upset that organized indifference you have to anything that might reflect another thought that might shake up your closed mind. As long as you don't read, see, or hear anything different then you believe you must be right, therefore you don't read, see, or hear anything unless you know it will agree with your already made up mind.

I created this for one reason and only one. There is a poster that likes to post similar things to try to make one side look petty or bad. I was trying to prove that it is a two way street.

you might want to read the book day of deceit by robert stennit .fdr not only knew and when the japanese were going to attack pearharbor but he provoked them into doing it so the american people would want to get involved in the war with germany.very interesting how some people think our government would never do something so low.going through life with their head stuck in the ground. 110,000 japanese americans were put in camps for years most lost everything they had. my wife and i both tore our voter cards up after voting for obama the first time he ran for office knowing what our government is doing behind our backs to strip our freedoms away those camps will be back real soon.

Hey, all I have to do is read a few sentences of some of these yahoo redneck Ditto-heads posts & I realize this is something I've already read over & over - so why waste my time?

Yes, I've already heard it all - every concievable put-down, lie & distortion that these Ditto-heads spew out trying to discredit Obam, the Democrat party & any Democratic president in the history of the nation. When a person has lived 70 yrs - they've pretty much heard it all...

However, when a person has lived 70 years (and still has a very clear & keen mind) they have a big advantage over a lot of these younger folks who havent' had the advantges of life experiences & wisdom gained by over a half a century of living.

I can only say one thing for certain about WWII.(other than we won) It brought our country out of the Great Depression. And as far as conspiracy theories. I suggest you watch the "Men who Killed
Kennedy" on Youtube. Then you might learn something about "Your Government."

I guess the only thing certain about the bush wars(we lost 4,000 lives) is that it got us into the Great Recession. People say bush knew about the 9/11 attack was going to happen.

Catfish you are right. There is a conspiracy theory about 9-11 and it is led by Rosie O'Donell but for every crazy conspiracy theory that is placed on the right, there is one that is placed on the left and for every one on the left there is one to place on right.

The point is, if you want to try to look one side or the other look bad with conspiracy theories, there is one that can be shot back at you

Yep, just like the conspiracy theory that the administration "HIDES" Benghazi survivors.

Do you believe that one? Is that one ok?

Pillsbury Doe boy wants everyone to believe into his unilateral bullshit scam when in fact, he seeks nothing more than attention. Curious Doe Boy why have you NEVER brought up any FACYTS about right winged conservatives?? You think they are without fault? You ALWAYS blame the left for everything because this is who you are. A fraud. Just like your buddy Comrade. But when someone calls your bluff, what do you two do?

Refuse to answer and if you do its usually name calling or "show me proof" bullshit.

Attention whore.

Catfish,

I don't know what happened at Benghazi. Some of the few facts that come out have pointed in many different directions. After the Kennedy Assassination we had the Warren Commission. Perhaps we need a bipartisan commission of moderates from both sides of the aisle. That might just give the answers and lay the entire matter to rest.
