All you are doing is trying to spin and cloud the issue to avoid a simple question.<quoted text>
I have already responded to your comments about the Kennedy assination on other posts.
My last post to you was in response to your post #15 on this same thread.
I looked it up - and below is the way both income tax & payroll tax deductions are indicated on your paycheck.
FWH - Federal witholding (for federal income taxes)
State - State with holding (for state income taxes)
FICA -Social Security witholding(for Social Security PAYROLL TAXES)
SSHI - Medicare witholding (for Medicare PAYROLL TAXES)
** Some companies indicate both Social Security & Medicare PAY ROLL witholding under the FICA indication.
Also, some other companies have their own symbol for Medicare PAY ROLL witholding taxes.
SURELY THIS WILL MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INCOME TAXES & PAYROLL TAXES.
If Obama really wanted to put in that 2% tax cut for the middle class why didn't he include it in his bill that raised the taxes for the top 1% to 39%? he could have done both in one bill because he knew that he was going to get his 39% hike. Instead, the bill was written to raise everyone's taxes. If he says he wants to raise the taxes of the rich and lower the taxes of everyone else, that is what he should do. He had the perfect vehicle to do it and didn't. Why not?
