I dare everyone (right wingers, liberals, independents and don't knows) to watch this with an open mind and then argue with a straight face that American corporations are over-taxed. This documentary will piss you off.

Trailer:

Full documentary free with limited commercials on Hulu: http://www.hulu.com/watch/442931

or watch with no commercials on Netflix: http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/We_re_Not_B...

America is in the grip of a societal economic panic. Lawmakers cry “We’re Broke!” as they slash budgets, lay off schoolteachers, police, and firefighters, crumbling our country’s social fabric and leaving many Americans scrambling to survive.

Meanwhile, multibillion-dollar American corporations like Exxon, Google and Bank of America are making record profits. And while the deficit climbs and the cuts go deeper, these corporations—with intimate ties to our political leaders—are concealing colossal profits overseas to avoid paying U.S. income tax.

WE’RE NOT BROKE is the story of how U.S. corporations have been able to hide over a trillion dollars from Uncle Sam, and how seven fed-up Americans from across the country, take their frustration to the streets ... and vow to make the corporations pay their fair share.

Imagine if the GOVERNMENT gave U. S. the same support they give to other countries.

That would be socialism. Conservatives "empower" elderly, poor, disabled, sick by kicking them to the curb, so they can seek a better life than welfare. Get with the program, it saves a lot of money, and that's the most important thing in conservative America, money.

Why are republicans are not going after the REAL MOOCHERS - the big corporations who are offshoring their money to keep from paying taxes in the U.S.?

Instead of going after the real DEADBEATS who are bankrupting our country, Republicans are going after the poor, the sick, the elderly & the children.

But, as long as big corporations keep hiring lobbyist to grease the palms of politicians to keep
passing/enforcing laws which allow big business to get away with this - or country is SCREWED!

If a bill were brought before Congress to stop these TAX CHEATING BIG BUSINESSES from robbing America of the taxes which are rightfully due from these companies - I believe Democrats would vote for it.

But, do you really think Republicans would vote to stop this practice???

Probably not, Republicans would rather see kids go hungery, or sick & elderly people die from lack of medical treatment.

Republicans would also rather see senior citizen's hard earned Social Security be privatized to be at the whims the stock market...

You know - I'm sure there will be a special place in HELL for some of our REPUBLICAN POLITICIANS...

If the GOP thinks privatizing SS is the answer then its clear to me they dont know jack about the American tax payers money! Why has SS been is trouble? Because Republicans wont leave it alone. They're after OUR money, and it is our money not theirs! Its all Republicans care about anymore. "OUR MONEY". They use it to spend on themselves with hefty pay raises while the hard working people struggle to survive.

I read where one person commented that the people you see out spending money didnt earn it. What rock did he or she crawl out from under? I travel all over the country and the world for that matter. All across the country in the last 4 years I have seen no slowing down anywhere I go except rural America like this crap hole around here. To post a ignorant comment like that leads me to believe that over half the Obama haters in here are like Republicans. They dont know JACK either!
