My thoughts, prayers, and blessings go out to this man's family. I have a son on the USS San Antonio and it could have just as easily been him. Prayers to the crew as well.

I am a very good friend of Theo and there are many unanswered questions here that the navy has not been able to answer. They are also telling us different story than what is being reported in the news. We were told they found his Personal Flotation Devices (PFD) intact which is very hard to belief and only two out of the 3 sailor fell out of the inflatable boat (RHIB). No mention of PFD in the articles I've read and heard on the news. I believe it is a requirement when you are lowered from a ship in a RIB.

the media is well known for telling only partial stories and leaving information out to create conflict with there is none or to further their agenda.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Theo's family. I was stationed on the ship and knew him. He was very friendly and a fun loving person to be around. Many unanswered questions that we may or may not ever know. God Bless

I was stationed with Theo in Ingleside. We both originated from Ghana and live together for a couple of months in Corpus Christi, TX. He was a very friendly guy. I called him "Nimpa Nua" (sibling to all). He loved and enjoyed life. I am very saddened to hear this heartbreaking news. I am still trying to get my mind to accept what happened. May his soul rest in peace!

This news touched my heart in a special way when I read it and has been in my thoughts ever since. I knew Ansong for a little over a year when he was stationed in Ingleside, TX. He was a great person, very funny and intelligent. The type of person that you never forget. I just wanted to say that he will be missed and that I have his family in my prays.
