I have narrowed my search to two houses areas but I am wanted to get an opinion on the elementary schools that I would be considering. If you had a choice to go to either Mountain View or Buckland Mills, which school would you pick and why?

My son was @ MTES last year, BMES this year (we bought just over the line). Personally we have been more pleased with BMES.

Buckland Mills by far. There are some great programs in that school and it has been a School of excellence every year since it opened, except for year one.

Check out www.pwcs.edu if you have not already done so. School boundaries have been changing every few years as new schools are built. The new school to be built on Hwy 15, will be coming in 2014.
As for BMES, we love it. The principal is great and not going anywhere. BMES is the only IB elementary school in the area (Victory Lakes is the closest). This year they offer Chinese to all grades. I am new to the school and volunteer as well and I'm amazed at how well the school works together. Okay, the parking is not the best but that is just something you work around.
