How is it? If you had your pick, would you go to Volcano Hot stone or Desiderio for dinner if out of towners were coming?
I realize that they are different kinds of foods.

Desidero is great. The food is delicious, they don't skimp on wine and the employees are gracios. Their meatball appetizers are the best I've had and their main dishes are all superb.

We have never tried Volcano Hot Stone so I cannot compare the two, but we have been to Desiderio many times and have always had a nice time and good food. We like to take guests there as it is quiet, has a nice wine list, and a good selection of food.

We go to Desiderio about once a month for a date night. We think it's great--we always get great service there and the food is delicious. My husband always orders the same thing--it's a steak alfredo dish. I tend to order something different each time, I especially like to order their specials when they have the Pepe Zito sausage.
I have not tried the Volcano Hot Stone restaurant yet, so I can't say which would be better for guests...but I don't think you could go wrong with Desiderio.

Go with Desiderio. Volcano Hot Stone is way too expensive for what you get. We had lunch there recently and it was $80 for 3 people.... you've got to be kidding!
