Signs of a bad economy perplexing local businesses are scant at Madison Crescent, locating on the northeast side of the U.S. 29 and U.S. 15 intersection in Gainesville.

How bad can the economy be?
Apple is selling things people really don't need (iPad, iPhone) like hotcakes
Movie theaters are packed (at least the parking lots are) even though ticket prices keep going up
Restaurants are all busy - at least the good ones
Attractions that require a fairly hefty fee (IE, the Aquarium , Lurray Caverns, amusement parks) are packed
So, for most people it must not be that bad.
There are 12 million Americans that are out of work, but they could all get a job if we kicked out the 14 million illegals...
