I personally prefer the Pit Stop. I think they have alot of potential and the atmosphere is great! Chevelle's is over priced, small and the service is awful. I noticed the wait staff is over-friendly to the male customers and cruel to the ladies. Prob with that is in the end, we have say over the tip!! The Pit Stop is more inviting and some of the girls are very nice!! Yet there are a few who have sour faces and of course the service could use some work but at least some of the wait staff there are amazing vs Chevelles where they are snobs and to good for everyone! That's how I feel. Just wondering what everyone else thinks????

That's great that you prefer the Pit Stop but trash talking on the internet about people you don't know is kinda pathetic. I don't think the waitresses there are over friendly to a certain sex- and their tips are proof that they are doing a pretty good job. This is just something that a jealous female would say. Probably one whom works at the Pit Stop. "Snobs and too good for everyone"... Nice observation. Are you still in high school?

I am a patron of both places. Chevelles by far has the best wings but is NOT the sports bar they want you to think they are. Bartender is cute but not very efficient (unless you sit at the bar). Ignores orders put in by wait staff. Chevelle owners want to bring The Hamptons "class" into the area. That to me is an insult. Small towns do not equal low class. As far as the Pit Stop, they are a true sports bar. They need to work on their food and again the bartender. Should be running her feet off to make sure everyone gets their drinks in a timly manner. Instead she just stands around looking like she is in a coma. So, for us it's Chevelles on wing night and The Pit Stop for any other evenings out.

I agree with you 100%. I love Chevelles wings as well and The Pit Stops can use some work but they did just open and Chevelles is a franchise that has been operating for a while now! But it's nice to know you have a choice depending on how much money you have to go out and have a good time and also what you are in the mood for! Not sure why there is bad blood b/w the two places but I personally like them both for different reasons!

Instead of assuming a person works at the Pit Stop and being rude online arguing to someone you are insulting for the very thing you are doing. Step up your game at your job! If people think you ladies are snobby and rude then prove them, wrong!! Don't assume that the girls at the other restaurant are behind anything negative spoken to you ladies. Take it in stride because all of you guys will be under scrutiny especially in a small town! Grin and bare it honey.

I like the pit stop better. Their bar has more drink options and more to do there. chevelle got old real fast and I stayed broke. Too rich for my blood. But chevelle does have some smoking hot girls working there. I pop in still from time to time to check them out but can't afford to stay long.

the observation above was very correct, and you don't have to be in high school to notice those same qualities a person leaves high school with and thinks they can use in the real world, lol just makes them look bad so yes, the observation was a good one! and i agree.

If you drive by both places on the weekends or any night of the week then you will see that the pit stop is poppin! Chevelles even had to get a corn hole game to try and win their customers back but we left because it is over priced and the service was bad so if you want our service back do not try and copy the local sports bar but work on your own bar such as quality service. Just an sayin.

Well, I think everyone is different and everyone likes different things so why can't everyone just realize that there are 2 bars in town each with something different to offer, if your in the mood for a sports bar and a laid back atmosphere and ready to watch a sporting event, then in my mind you need to go to the pit stop. If your wanting to splurge a little bit and have a nice fancy meal and a drink or 2 then you probably want to head over to chevelle's. They are two totally different places with great concepts and I think the community should welcome both with open arms because they are supplying jobs for our county. Bashing each of them on a website is absurd and not necessary. If you like one better than the other, then go to that place and have a great time. Sorry if I have offended anyone but I think we should be looking at booth as a boost to the community instead of trying to bash each one of them.

If you want to splurge I suggest Copper Door. I agree with not bashing one to support the other and by my recollection the price points seemed in the same general area.

I agree with you on the copper door, it is very good. I was just trying to say if you wanted to go to a bar but didn't just want bar food, then chevelles would be the place to go since they have more pricey "entree" type meals. I like both places personally I just find that the pit stop is a little more friendly on my wallet when we go there for a night out lol

Sounds like he/she absolutely knows what they are talking about. Take a drive passed both places yourself and see. Most friday nights at The Pit Stop are standing room only!!

First of all you need to get your facts straight. Chevelles has a much larger dining space than the pit stop. The bar at the Pit Stop faces a wall vs. the bar at Chevelles, which you can see all around. Secondly, the Pit Stop is just one big loud room. Secondly, the menu at the Pit Stop is very limited and the cost is the same or higher than Chevelles. At least Chevelles has daily specials that are very inexpensive. And last but, not least, the ladies, and gentlemen servers at Chevelle's are much more professional than the Pit Stop. They seem to have been trained very well. I personally had a horrible waitress at the Pit Stop recently. She did nothing but, talk bad about her co-workers and used horrible language. These are the facts!!! Now, for my opinion. I really do think that you sound a little jealous of the cute girls at Chevelle's. I hope that whoever reads your opinions will use there own judgement and not listen to ignorant comments such as yours. Oh, and by the way, since the Pit Stop is one big room, on Karaoke night or when they have a band you really cannot enjoy it because there are so many different noises. It was not an enjoyable experience for myself or family. ROCK ON CHEVELLES !!!

yeah, what? excuse me but I believe the Pit Stop is copying Chevelles. They copied Chevelle's theme, Chevelle's Karaoke, Chevelle's live bands. the only thing the pit stop didn't copy is the wonderful food and servers that are not so obnoxious as the Pit Stop

Oh, and by the way, if you see lots of cars outside the Pit Stop, most of them are "for sale" by the owner. It is sort of a one stop shop. Have lunch and buy a volvo. How clever.

If you drive by the Pit Stop and it looks busy that is because most of the cars out front are "for sale" by the owner. Secondly, please don't write comments that are based on ignorance. The facts are, The Pit Stop is copying Chevelles. who was here first? The Pit Stop is competing with Chevelle's Karaoke, Chevelle's live music etc. Honestly, it is no competion. Chevelle's is so much better. Just sayin

I wish that people would not talk bad about our local restaurants. whoever made the comment about the girls at chevelles being snobs, that to me sounds like discrimination. I am sure the owners did not train their people to be rude. I had a wonderful lunch at Chevelles, a delicious salad, rolls, pattymelt and coke my boyfriend had the same and the total was only $12.79 with tax With 20% gratuity added it was less than the cost of McDonalds plus much healthier. and our service was fine. I love Chevelle's
