What I'm having trouble understanding is The Point Bar and Grill formally Olivias at the Point, has fights several times a week, it is always over capacity, the employees are drunk more than the customers, alcoholic beverages are being allowed to be taken outside the premises where fights erupt in the parking lot on a daily occurance, the owner, Gary Ward is driving on a suspended license and has been since February, his wife has her first DUI and drunk in public, its clear she drinks way to much while managing the place. Theres drugs, violece and everything else imaginable here. Why is it that Cruisers happens to get the bad rap? Wheres the ABC, the GCSO and the fire marshall for the Olivias hole in the wall, "the Wards last chance". They used to have a felon running the place, he has a felon multiple times over with a current fugitive warrant working and singing there now. Whats the deal with this guy. He never does any business but is packed at night for alcohol business, don't you have to sell a certain amount of food to keep the license to sell alcohol? Everyone in the county who passes there daily will tell you he obviously sells more alcohol at night then he ever even comes close to selling food any other time combined. Whares everyone with this, the papers, law enforcement, ABC, tax people, auditors etc. His food reps say hes so broke they cut him off, wont allow him credit at either place, and hes got employees unable to be paid for no funds. Whats the deal, wheres big government when you really need them...

Sounds like a disgrundle employee. You really should get your facts straight before post false information on about a business.

Perhaps it's just a case of a crude people who cannot hold their drink or behave themselves in public.

I can say, in my experience that Bryce is right at least about Olivia's being full of drugs and even the owner being drunk there all the time. You can't go to "Mrs. Owner" if there's a problem and expect her to manage the issue - she's too drunk, or dancing around like a 20 year old. The vibe at that place is that of a skanky dive friends and I don't go there anymore. There's always trouble.
We have been to Cruisers a few times and have never had any trouble there. Not gonna say it's a great place to hang out (lol) but at least I haven't seen anyone so drunk they can't walk while bartenders give them more drinks, sleazy guys assaulting women on the dance floor, etc. that I've seen at Olivia's.
