This was not a single fatality crash, it was multiple fatality with a 7 and a half month pregnant woman. I am sad for them both and for their family.

Ejected from the car!!! Maybe the surviving family members and friends WILL wear their seatbelts now!!! I feel for the family and friends because this was a senseless tragedy which probably would've had a better ending if a seatbelt was worn. BUCKLE UP!!
just curious

The point is that maybe someone reading this will get the message. Always wear your seatbelts. Use car seats for your children. Despite seatbelt laws and much evidence that belts save lives, some people will never get the message ... until it's too late.

And her car was set up so the seatbelt was on as soon as you closed the door. I think they were defective, when I drove that car It always seemed ok though. :( :(

maybe the seatbelt broke, maybe she took it off for some reason i dont know. you never know. i just dont understnad why people have to be so heartless. anyone reading this should be old enough to know that, yes we should wear our seatbelts and yes they save lives. my point is you never know, and until you do you shouldnt leave comments.

If it was a automatic seatbelt, they hook to the door. Aparantly the door is missing therefore it took her seatbelt. I am sure she had her seatbelt on, so quit being heartless and evaluate the accident. You don't know what really happened. And i think you need to take to heart the family that has been affected by this. So instead of talkin crap about someone not wearing a seat belt why don't you tell the family you are sorry.
To the family:
I am so sorry for what has happened, and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay strong!!

To the family and Matthew my thoughts and prayers are with you. Have comfort in knowing that Hedia saw her child today for the first time while the Lord held them in his arms. Stay strong and we will be praying for you. Don't pay attention to the nasty comments on this page, some people think they know everything about every accident that takes place in the area. God Bless our hearts are heavy with this sad sad news.

I just like reading how some people can be heartless when making comments about someone. Well if the shoe fits, and the comments hurts. Than I guess it is hitting home with someone. The Law states you "MUST WEAR YOUR SEATBELT" remember "Click it or ticket".

Yes those comments about this victim is hard, however I drove past this accident this morning. Yes her and the other cars were heavily damaged. The other car was more damaged than the one missing the door. She was ejected, and another driver was transported with "non-life threating" injuries. That person was wearing their seatbelt. So, seatbelts can save lives. And from my experience dealing with such incidents, the car with the missing door it looks from the damage to the door that it was removed by the rescue crews.

I am sorry for the unexpected death of this person and her unborn child. Yes, it's very tragic. My prayers are for her family also, AND my prayers also go out to the Firefighters and Medics along with the Police that had to deal with such an incident. I have been there too, and we all think that if that person had thier seatbelt on, maybe they would have a better chance to survive.

Not all accidents are survivable, I have been to accidents where the victims had thier seatbelts on and still did not survive. Either way, it's the law, it just takes a few seconds to make it click. Because, just judging from what I saw when I went by this accident. This person may have survived if only she had her seatbelt on.

Just my thoughts about this tragic event.

Hey seatbelts,

I drove that car all the time when I could to avoid having Hedaia drive without power steering. This morning unfortunately I was not present at our Hayes apartment to let her use my vehicle. In case you havent read the other comments, her Seatbelt was AUTOMATIC and therfore she never had to worry about putting it on. Everytime I drove the car the belt seemed to work fine, or I certainly wouldve addressed that problem. She was a few days away from getting a new Mercedes. So everyone who brings up this seatbelt issue, the car has passed inspection every year so far, so i believe her ejection was due to a defect in it. The car was a early 90s Tercel and was extremely light weight. All of us (our family and myself)were helping her with her vehicle issues, so this was a very tragic and horrific accident. I can swear, on behalf of everything I hold dear and true in my soul after this horrible horrible horrible accident, Hedaia risked NOTHING when it came to our unborn baby. Her driving style did a complete 180 and I went from complaining of her being too agressive to her driving like she were in a coma. If you cannot believe what I am saying to you than I guess you will never understand just how well I knew my Jordanian Queen.
