Finding Smith Valley folks online

Anyone in SV look at this forum or is there some other forum where folks from the valley chat.
I graduated from SVHS in 1970. I was at the 2010 reunion and party at Dr. Robin but not the picnic.
I thought Dr. Robin did an outstanding job of providing a nice party the night before the reunion. What a nice piece of property and such a pleasant evening.
The reunion itself was really nice as well. Thanks again to all those who spent their valuable personal time to make this a great event. I look forward to attending the next reunion in 2020.
Anyway I hope someone from SV reads this and jumps in with a few comments.

I sure was surprised to see so many houses in what used to be alfalfa fields on my last visit. Apparently there was a flood in 97 or 98 that forced folks to drive through the vally. In doing so they noticed the valley and started moving there. I am told that most of these peoples dream homes are now empty as a result of the current economy.
I can sure see why folks wanted to move there.
I hope someone from SV or the surrounding area chimes in.
