Hawthorne voters show disenchantment with city's leadership

To all the commentators:
Hey people!! The election is over. Grow-up!!The people made a choices. EVERYBODY will have to get use to it for the next 2 to 4 years.Both sides... Stop attacking and start thinking how you can help the city to move forward. You can not change the past, but you can improve the future. Remember that your friends are never as perfect as you think or your enemies as bad as you think. If any of you have a proven legitimate case against any of the officials..go ahead, do not accuse in the shadows of a blog. Present your case, do not be afraid.. As for how pure, ethical, transparent, magnificent, extraordinary are the new elected council people. IT IS TOO SOON TO RENDER A VEREDICT... As for Mayor Larry Guidi (I believe that using derrogative names is such a denigrating act)he has work for this city for 18 years. It is natural in the political arena to find people that are not happy (It goes with the territory). Look at President Obama less than a year and his aproval rate has come down considerably. But to all Mr. Guidi's enemies, although you will never admitted, he had an excellent run and even without the police backing this election, HE WON!! 2116 people voted him back. IT IS A FACT. For those that make a big deal about only 110 votes, research other elections a 1 point and even less difference is a very common occurance... Bite your tongues, stop complaining and help ALL THE ELECTED OFFICIALS (favorites and not) to make the city better...

Response to post #22 - How about you grow up? We are grown ups, and we can talk about whatever we want to talk about. Its called history and learning from it - discussing past events and learning from them. I love Hawthorne, love the USA, and will discuss whatever I feel like discussing. If you have a problem with it, then don't participate. By posting, you are just doing the same thing we are doing. Thanks for being part of the 'commentatots'.

This Guido boy no good SOB, scumbug, he claimed to be a friend with the bigger attorney Cooley he said bigge money for the campaign and nothing much from him other than let him along, and look the other way, good money for a while with crooked friend J. Vogel from the South Bay Industry Council, lots of federal and state money funneled to "city of Hawthorne projects"
Amiable dumbs protect Guido, at district where he works, good posibilities of "bussines" with constructors, except an idiotic idea of making Guido house look just like the two story school in El Segundo and Hawthorne...
Hey Carrington, Board Members, are you sleeping or what? How come your full time employer has two jobs? Doesn't he make enough money? Why he need to be a "warehouse manager",somewere else, I though it was at least more than any teacher with a Master degree...
I do respect Guido's friends, he claims Steven Cooley; LA County District attorney was his friend,because he was an "strong supporter" I wonder what it meant? Italians in US if you are not Sicilian don't go there...
