As a former military wife I agree. This is a place to honor this young man and to send our sympathies to the family. If you want to talk about politics, go start another thread.
I expressed my sorrow for a life lost....can't handle the fact that I don't like the reason that he lost his life so be it, but no need for people to be rude and judgmental in every single one of these forums just because they don't have the same views as someone else.

Excuse all of you...did I once say that I was against someone wanting to fight for our country no I sure as **** didn't.....I am against war not the people who choose to go into it...and this forum is about opinions..don't like it then don't read it. I have cousins in the war, do I have to like war NO....So you need to really take a quick reality check before you attack someone without reasoning!
I will re-iterate, not the forum for your opinion of the war.

WOW...he's the problem with most of you right now. This is a good time to shut your mouth and stop being SO offended by what people say. You can support or not support the war....This is a FREE COUNTRY, you have freedom of speech, you can say it loud and clear all you want! That is what SSGT Brandon Farley just DIED for!! FOR OUR FREEDOM. If someone wants to make a comment about the war...they have a right too. Brandon was an amazing soldier dedicated to what he did. One of the best friends I could ever have asked for. God blessed me with him. Yes he was taken away...and NO I DO NOT LIKE THIS WAR. I 100% support ALL our troops fighting. I know they are there for us....

Let's all take a step back and realize that you guys are getting a bit out of hand with this arguing....take a deep breath and LET PEOPLE GRIEVE! Stop playing in on every word simply to pick a fight!
This is not about you...THIS IS IN MEMORY OF A FALLEN SOLDIER THAT DIED FOR YOUR CRAP YOU ARE TALKING

Exactly what I was trying to get at..I support our troops I just don't support the war...I don't feel anyone deserves to die, just now realizing that people assume that if you don't like fighting that you hate soldiers or something. I am not a negative person and don't like to be attacked. Thank you for your post....it is directly to the point of the brighter side we should be looking for.

Thats because she took it out of context. I was just stating that it was sad that war was the reason he died..ya know? Not meant in a bad way he did what he wanted to do by fighting for his country which is wonderful but being attacked by her wasn't nice considering she took what I said all wrong. Soldiers have my respect but I deserve respect too. I'm not worried about you trying to start anything...we may not agree on everything but at least we can agree to disagree..lol

Very true very true. I just know Fancy is very, I dont want to say sensitive but she just took her son to Fort Benning, she is very proud of him and what he does. I can see both sides and see why she got offended but I can see what you are saying as well. For once I am biased HA!

Well put Stephanie H. Whats the point of an open forum if you can't have an open opinion. One thing does have something to do with the other. It is what it is and you all know it.

Hey Fancy this is not just YOUR forum. You are soooooooo confused. You can start a new one called "Hi I'm fancy and you can't join unless you totally agree with everything I say" It's sad really. Quit harassing others.

How about if everyone just says we are sorry for your loss & leaves it at that. I recently lost a nephew & now my other nephew is in Iraq. This family is suffering regardless of the circumstance. Just say I'm sorry & let it go at that. That will help the most at a time like this. Believe me, I still cry every day & it has been 5 months. I can't even begin to fathom that I could have to go through this again with my other nephew. Just pay your respects nothing else.
