I dated Brandon a few months ago, and Just can NOT grasp the thought of him being gone today! This Kills me, I have NEVER personally known ANYONE who was killed while serving in the war, but the stories and young men and women that we have lost is just horrible. The war needs to stop.. This would NOT have happened to Brandon or anyone else for that matter. It needs to END!!!:( RIP Brandon you will be greatly missed not only by me, but MANY others!!! xoxoxo

I am sorry for your loss and your grief. I have had members of my family lost due to war, and I come from a long line of army soilders. The loss you are feeling is normal grief for anyone who looses a loved one. Brandon is a hero, he was sent by God to protect others, he walked the path God laid out for him. He was a good man, and loved by many. You will see him again, and I am sure he would want you to remember him as a great man, loved and a hero that he is. Think of him offen, and when you do, you will smile again. Blessings to you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Brandon's family for their loss. God Bless him for his service to his country. While some do no not understand this war, I KNOW that there are many in these war torn countries that appreciate the sacrifice made by our men and women to help better there lives. Our troops don't just fight, they build! Everything from a safer country to schools and infrastructure. This is not a time for war protests or political stances. This is a time to honor and respect the life lost in a path he chose.

As the parent of a soldier, just wanted to say I don't give a flip what you think of the war and this really wasn't the forum to give your opinion of it.

As a former military wife I agree. This is a place to honor this young man and to send our sympathies to the family. If you want to talk about politics, go start another thread.

Now Fancy, I understand your meaning here, I too am proud to be the daughter of an American soldier. But some others do not think that way, and I am sure the person meant no harm or disresect. The way I see it, is all the ones that cry about the war, loosing men and women who stand up for them on their own free will, and are willing to die for them, would change their tune if the war was here, on American soil. We have to look past the negitive here, and think of the good in all this. We know in our hearts this man is a hero, and so does his family. Blessings!

I for one will never speak against the war no matter how I feel about it. If I disagree I will agree with some that every soldier died for nothing and I WILL NOT BE A PART OF THAT. I may not understand it but if the soldiers of our armies are loosing their lives then it is worth more than we will ever comprehend!

Thank you Staff Sergeant Farley for so grasciously sacrificing your life for our country. My condolences are just words and can never truly express the emotions I have behind the gratitude I have for men and women like you!

Excuse all of you...did I once say that I was against someone wanting to fight for our country no I sure as hell didn't.....I am against war not the people who choose to go into it...and this forum is about opinions..don't like it then don't read it. I have cousins in the war, do I have to like war NO....So you need to really take a quick reality check before you attack someone without reasoning!

If you don't give a flip what I think then don't respond to it! Did you take what I said out of context..yes you sure did and you need to really get a grip
