TIRED. even if yiu asked you mean a non profit corporation does not answer your questions... Dang that is amazing. And I bet they want your money for that bill. You know why ? they are unregulated under the laws of Oklahoma. The only way to make chnges is to vote them out of office.....

Been fighting Choctaw Electric for about 6 years now didn't seem to b getting anywhere until all the rest of cec members got fed up with our bills. I have a monitor on my meter and in just the last 10 days I've been over charged an average of 17kwh per day . I have e-mailed them but can seem to get an answer. If everybody would e-mail the BBB they might get something done.

Can anyone tell me if Terry Matlock is on CEC or PSO. I understand that Garvin is on PSO. If this is the case then is is getting cheap rates while robbing us

Thank you in advance for any info

Whoop, just wait for the natural gas rates to go and the coal to escalate also due the demand for natural gas to go up in generating plants, making the price of electricity go up even more. My electric company is almost at the point of filing bankruptcy. It was bought out by a group of invsstors for about 42 billion dollars and they sem not to be ao make the payments, that will be the time they start selling off the company piece by piece and make a profit on the pieces I reckon and keep the generating plants possibly that are the money makers. Look at bill and look or the many fees you are paying and add them up, you will be surprised at what they cost you in dollars

Folks maybe Choctaw electric was run in similar ways to McCurtain County Hoital. Next thing you may be asked for a tax to help pay the bills for Choctaw Electric. Chotaw Electric is a non profit organization, but there are several people tht may be thinking profit for they are benefitting very well in theur paycheck. Reckon that is also nonprofit. n a non-profit organization there are some who benefit greatly in comparision to those not benefiting from the nonprofit.--it depends on which side of the fence you are standing on, whether you ar looking in or looking out

Everytime I voice my opinion to company Im asked if I have old outdated applances...I have a home in each neighboring states each with only a fridge running and what I pay Choctaw Electric for 1 month of service would pay for the other two home for almost a year.....Somethings wrong....and all my appliances are up to date...

My parents are on Choctaw electric and their monthly bill is OUTRAGES and has been for years. It is NEVER below $300 and during the summer it averages about $400+... My parents called them a few years back and asked them to come out and check the meter and they showed up and looked at it and actually told my parents that the meter was actually really running to slow.. WTF?.. My parents aren't wasteful people and they are sticklers about turning the lights off and only using them in need. Its a shame that so much of their fixed income money has to be spent like that but there are no other options for most folks and Choctaw Elec knows that.. shame on them
