concerned citizen Honesdale, PA	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #5 Jan 30, 2008 I moved to hawley from lancaster pa it is not to bad the schools are really good and if you are willing to travel there are places to go Scranton, NYC, and various other cities... as for racial mix, we have a diverse group of people but I would have to say it is primarily caucasion

They moved up from the city and it is not too bad of a drive, neither is Philadelphia. There probably isn't much to do in winter, but there isn't here either and I live in a fairly big city. The people are a very welcoming if you aren't a New Yorker. You might really love it, I do.
