I love my niece with all my heart and always will. That doesnt mean I condone what she did.We all know what she did was wrong. There is no excuse for what she did and I am sorry Cari had to die because of it.Trish will now and forever have to pay for her mistakes but what she did has absolutely nothing to do with her parents. She is the one who chose to deal drugs and everyone knows the trouble that comes along with it.It was a drug deal that had gone terribly wrong.Does anyone out there realize that Caris unborn child was already in danger because of her own chose to do drugs?Just think , if she didnt call Trish for the drugs she would still be here.Cari knew that doing the drugs that she was doing was a gamble with her life and her unborn child. She chose that life for herself not Trish.Trish knows that she will pay and pay dearly for her mistakes and she has learned to except her fate.Whether she gets life or death, she will pay for her mistakes.

I've been following this story since it happend.
Can any of Patricia's friends fill me in on whats been happening with the trial?
I don't know anyone involved with the case. But I do feel bad for all. I feel like Patty could have been helped. Don't get me wrong, I feel terriable for Cari and her unborn. I'm 36 and I spent 11 yrs of my life in prison for Robbery 1st.
When I heard of the shootings and saw the accussed killer all I thought was that poor kid just wasted her life.
My opinon on the whole matter: Yes, Patty is an adult and is ultimly responsable for her actions.
However, Patty is who Patty is because of her upbringing. I've never heard of someone who is an A
student, good all around person, and then a killer all of a sudden. Not common at all.
Our children will continue to die,be imprisoned whether they are white,black,hispanic-gay,strai ght, if we, the parents don't direct them. Teach them, love them, encourage them and most important...listen to them.
I gave my parents millions of "cries" for help. And they chose to turn a silent ear to me. So, I paid the price with 11 yrs of my life in a cage. From 17-29 yrs old.. I have been out since 1999. I am married and have a beautiful little girl 1yrs old. And I will do all in my powers to make sure Reyna, my daughter, will never feel the need to do what this young woman chose to do.
I wonder if Patricia's parents can honestly say they were there for their little girl.

trish had a rough life but she turned that all around once she became a mother she was dedicated to her two children and then she haad packed up and move to P.a. to try and make something better of her life for her and her two kids but obviously she made some very wrong decisions while she was there and now she is paying for them I do not hope that she gets the death penalty because not only will another death have happened but then her two children will have to suffer with not haveing a mother to talk to and do you honustly think that it is fair to punish her two inocent kids for there mothers wrong choices in life

i dont know what made trish do the things she has done, and personally, i dont want to get into that, but i can say for a fact that her children are way better off where they are, are well taken care of and are wonderful, bright, happy children. i see them daily and spend alot of time with them, they are loved and safe. Thats all that matters.

i am trishs best friend i just spent the past 3 years at muncy with her...trish is a beautiful woman. she made a bad choice yes and she knows this. not a day goes by that she doesnt regret the senseless act that she did she knows and understands her punishment. She is a person who is willing to help anyone. life is hard on a daily basis in there. Trish helped me turn my whole life around for my release from prison....she will never be able to live outside those walls but i vowed to her that i will live everyday for her. Nobody should judge her until they talk to her for five minutes. I love you trish!

I too spent a lot of time behind the razor wire at Muncy with Trish. Reading all of these posts make me love Trish more. Not for what she did 6 years ago but for the person she has become since then. She is definitley NOT getting beat up by other inmates so to the.ignorant person who wrote that , go watch some more tv. I will not sit here and disclose her everyday routine because its none of your buisness. I will share a story with you though... for whatever reason, trish goes by "Mia" in there. She has been a mentor to several inmates. A new inmate comes in who's name Iwill not disclose. Mia befriends this new girl. She hangs out with her often and they work out in the yard together. After about a year of becoming friends its time for the new girl to go home. Mia writes her name and inmate number down for them to keep in touch. The girl goes back to her room and pulls the paper out of her pocket. She realizes who Mia is.....Patricia Stark. The same Patricia Stark who killed her best friends sister 4 years prior to this. The next day the new girl goes to the yard and sees Trish. She tells her that all this time she had no idea who she was until she saw her whole name written down on that paper. They both talked and cried. To this day, 2 years later, the new girl still writes to Trish. True story. Trish made the biggest mistake of her life that day and she knows it waking up every morning in that awful place. We have all made mistakes. Some worse than others but who are we to judge? I miss you Trish and no matter what these idiots say...I know the person beyond all this bullshit!

Everybody makes mistakes. Some roads have more stumbling blocks than others. Our mistakes don't define us. So, for all those that are so quick to judge, let's be realistic. If it came down to you and yours or me and mine, do you think I'd have to think twice? Do you think I would even have time to? Would you? Trish is an amazing woman who made an impulsive decision, one that had terrible consequences. Trish also has more loyalty and integrity than a great deal of the ppl that have posted on this site. Everyday now, she dedicates her life to keeping others from making the same foolish, impulsive decisions. But, it doesn't matter what negative opinions you ppl have formed. It will never change the goodness within her. It will never change the road she's travelled. She's a beautiful woman inside and out, a loving mother, and a victim of her own hasty decisions. But, you'll never hear her deny that. Walk tall, Bella, cuz those that truly know you truly love you. These other ppl have no idea. Hold your head, babygirl. The only one that needs to forgive you already has. Now, forgive yourself. It's ok. I love you, Trisha. Team MIA... and I don't care who's mad.

Holy wow....I just listened to a 24 yr old recently releasee tell me she'd take a bullet for her,etc ,etc. Although she's entitled to feel as she may for this trish/mia/bella woman; what has our criminal justice system become where lifelong violent criminals are permitted to "Charlie-Manson-induce " other offenders that will and DO get released but stand firm in their 'loyalty' to this woman! Obviously there was some SOLID info for her to get life, no parole, and what an addtl 180-200 yrs!!!!! And she's a mentor....wow. So I has to accept the fact last night that should this person make contact to the outside n say 'i need u'.....she will do whatever needed to get to her. And they call that rehabilitation....smh w pure disgust.

Well I am Patricia's wife I met her also in muncy I spent 3 years of my incarceration with her by my side 24 7. Trish may of made some poor choices but she is the most selfless honest caring remorseful women I've ever met in my life she gave me my life back had it not been for her I never would of changed anything about myself for the better. U all could never walk a day in her shoes and even after all her struggles she still puts a smile on her face and does right by everyone she comes in contact with. Don't judge because it is not your job god will do that. And if u want my honest opinion I think God will allow her in the kingdom I'm not saying what she did was right but at the end of it all she wasn't the only one at fault.

wow really?! How can you say such judgemental things and think you know Patricia Stark or her best friend? You cant and until you can say you have lived a perfect sin free life you should really not sound like someone who is perfect! Tric never set out that to kill anyone! We all make bad choices and we all pay for them! Have you paid for yours? I don't feel Tric should have to sit the rest of her life behind bars for hers! She is not that girl no more! For that matter she is grown woman who has changed her mind setting and has become a example for others! I am feel horrible that lives were taken! A baby should be able to grown and experience life! My question to you is would you still be defending the adult victims of they would have lived? I am pretty sure they wasn't living a law abiding life themselves!

Very well said!! No one wants to see any good in her cause they only want to fed off of their pain and make her out to be a monster but what they fail to realize is that I am pretty sure they aren't law abiding citizens! Which means they shouldn't be throwing stones cause they never know where their bad choices may lead them! We all make bad choices but do we all own up to them! NO!!! But Tric does and she is remorseful for them! And instead of going to prison and becoming a monster, she has changed not only herself but ones around her! There has been people that has went to prison ignorant and rock bottom that she has help pick back up and straighten them out!
