Did anone see the story on the news Fri. about Kelly Wilson who went missing in Gilmer in 1992. Had a friend go thru Gilmer about 3/wks. ago. He stop to get gas and there was a police officer at the station. He asked what was new with the Kelly WIlson case and the officer said he didn't know what he was talking about. This is so sad.

Would like to know why "unsolved murders" was removed from this forum. Anyone know why?

LOOK DUDE, HALF OF THE OFFICERS THAT WORK IN GILMER ARE NOT FROM THE AREA AND ARE YOUNG.1992 WAS A LONG TIME AGO- I DIDN'T KNOW OF ANY OF THE OFFICERS I WORKED WITH EVEN BEING AROUND DURING THE TIME.
EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION ABOUT POLICE WORK AND THE BAD OPINIONS ALWAYS COME FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS NOT BEEN A COP- AND BUY THE WAY KNOWING A COP OR HAVING ONE IN YOUR FAMILY DOES NOT MAKE YOU AN EXPERT. THE CASE WAS A MESS TO BEGIN WITH BECAUSE SOMEONE THREW THAT SATANIC CRAP IN THE MIX AND AND ALL THE BIBLE THUMPERS WENT CRAZY AND MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET PEOPLE TO GIVE ACCURATE INFORMATION.

Who criticized the police in this post? Sounds defensive.

I know cops. They do too have bad opinions on other officers. Juts like police have their opinions of regular ol' civilans. And we of them.

It was sad because the woman seems to have been forgotten. That was the point of the post. Dude.
