Takamine was bounced from being the head of the powerful House Finance Committee to a NOTHING in the legislature. House leadership finally saw through him and put him in his corner with nothing to do. Now he's pouting and trying to join his other NOTHING friend Russ Kokubun in the senate. They should both start thinking about people in the state instead of only people in their neighborhood.

Hawaii has become more and more wreckless in the way they handle their business. Still, with the high cost of living in place, its people still are clueless as to what is going on in the islands. Still electing Democrats and no progress is being made and yet they flock to the mainland because of their own faults not making the changes. Don't be afraid of change. Vote wise and vote with your mind, not your emotions.

I wish Representative Takamine well. He's been a good and steady member of the House, and I think he will do well as a Senator.
