I agree with Mrs. Lopez. I think the injunction goes a little too far. By preventing "gang members" or people that law enforcement see as such from interacting with each other is a good idea IF THEY ARE ACTIVE MEMBERS. This injunction is not fair to those that have "changed." The injunction will also have an inpact on the families. Chances are there are more than one "gang member" in a family. So what the law is telling me is that it is illegal for me to have a family dinner. This is a little extreme don'tcha think?

Sorry to say it, but you are who you hang around with. The idea of just protecting their turf is obsurd and ridiculous. If you look at it, it is God's turf. The mentality has to change.

If you have any knowledge about gangs, then you will know that it is not easy to get out of a gang. Also, if you hang out long enough, something is gonna happen. That is just the way it is. Someone get offended by some little thing.

i live in the gardens and its a good idea to put an end to the violence here but its a little extreme not to let people hang out w/ one another..ive seen cops take pics of young high school boys that are just sitting outside. they have no gang related tatoos & there is no evidence that they are gang related so why cant they hang out w/ one another? should everyone have to pay for the crime somebody else did? the gang member who killed the cop acted alone and not because the gang ordered him to, in fact most of the gang members have no pitty for that man who had no right to take the officers life. not all gang members are as evil as they are made out to be

Anyone can tell you that just about everyone in hawaiian gardens is related to each other in one way or another. According to the so called "gang experts" the population is over 100,000.

yes this is very true! i used to live in Hawaiian Gardens but it's sucks that everyone else has to pay ..... for only one persons mistake. it's not fair.... i had to move my family of of that city witch i was born and raised. I love hawaiian gardens but to tell you the truth it's never going to be the same.
