When a forum is'nt to your liking, ignore it and go to forums you like. Unless a person wants to try a diologue that offers exchange of constuctive advice between posters that mainly want to read views/opinions. Some of us went through town declines. Moving everytime is not always a solution. To just "run away" from problems when they arise. Glad that was'nt how our founders of this country did during the revolutionary war. Just making a point.

Didn't our founding fathers run away from England because they didn't like it? And How about all the native Americans they killed to steal the land. Then they enslaved people to grow cotton and tobacco. What does this have to do with anything about UD?

They left to have their freedom because England was owned by royalty. A need for a land they would own. When England wanted to take away the land from the settlers, they fought back. What that has to do with UD is to not just abandone and move on-this town was built by the. residents wanting to have a suburban life near the city. When being taken over by lowlifes, some want to fight back to keep what is their hometown. Others ran away.

Life in colonial times was of people that seen a rather unfair perspective on anyone that was different. Slavery was considered the norm as was worldwide views on slavery. Usually done by those of royalty and the wealthy. Today it's called corporate slavery. Some injustices were corrected. In colonial times, many seen slavery as wrong and was fought to end. Unfortunately such issues take generations to correct. History shows this.

No, then you will stay in our neighborhood and no on will want to visit. The neighborhood is being gentrified, google it if you don't know what that word means. Better stores will come along, and the likes of you and all your daily drama will be gone forever.
