Someone offers you something for free. The first thing you want to know is what's the catch? That's the first question that came to mind as I listened to U.S. students talk about receiving a free medical ... Full Story

Tammy dont pay attention to a bunch of bitter demented refugees. You wrote a great article and having traveled to Cuba several times, there are many positive aspects of the revolution. To all you hardliners out there I say Viva la Revolucion! Puereta o Muerta!

Got that right. Just ask a Cannuck about their socialized (affordable because it sucks) health care system. Just barely better than going to a veterinarian.

That was completely uncalled for. Any person with average intelligence can understand the meaning of the post. Try writing a post in a language other than your native one and you will find that syntax and grammar rules are very difficult to adhere to. Hell, most Americans don't even follow them.

Hi Tammy,
It's completely amazing to me that with this age of technology and advancement there are still individuals like yourself; uninformed and delusional. I'm happy for your enlightening trip to my country, but the reality of it all is that you experienced what they wanted you to experience.
This is an island prison of 11 plus million, why don’t you ask yourself or even your trip coordinators if Cubans can come to the United States on similar knowledge gaining trips? Or better yet, why don’t you ask why people in Cuba are incarcerated for trying to use the internet? Sounds far fetched? Well it’s reality in Castro’s Cuba and people much like yourself are currently incarcerated for just expressing their ideas just as you have; except their criticism is of their wonderful government, the government you are extolling in your printed story.
It saddens me to see a socialist/communist like you enjoy our freedoms. I wish someone who really understands the United States and it’s place in the history of mankind would be able to trade places with you , preferably someone/a regular nobody in Cuba. Maybe then you, as well as all those down trodden and misunderstood souls here in America would really find their place; that wonderful socialist/communist Utopia you all long for.
As for me, give me all that this wonderful land has to offer including the Socialist Demipublican Parties and hands down and on my knees I will love this land.
Thank you for your time, and although I fear you will be inundated by emails and mine will probably go unread; I just hope that you can better inform yourself in the future before you go ahead and publish such excrement. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Hi Ayin; I thank you for your post and your love for our Country. Tammy is just an opportunist, and Castro knows it, all these pro-Castro are people that don't really care about the destiny of Cuba.
