This is change that Barak Obamar would bring to America.

If I wanted to live in Cuba, I'd go there.

Didja notice Haugen and the rest of the anti McCaine bunch sound off on the Keating 5 and the rumours about life in the communist prison camp the other day?
What I found odd is that they all voted for Clinton.

Roy, If Obama is elected, we will definitely see a combination of "change" and No Change. We will change from a democracy state to a socialist state. Socialized medicine, redistribution of wealth, loss of Constitutional rights, i.e. the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and the Right of Freedom of Speech, just as a start.

Obama wants to redistribute wealth by increasing taxes on working people and giving it to those too lazy to work. All working people will be left with in their paychecks will be "Change".

He wants to institute "Windfall Profit" taxes on the big oil companies which will result in higher gas prices. He is talking about increasing federal gas taxes because Americans are driving less with a result of the government acquiring less taxes.

His "No Change" Policies include No New Drilling, No Nuclear Power, No Wind Power. He claims he wants to rduce our dependence on foreign oil, but is against all of the methods necessary to do that.

He will take away all incentive to work to get ahead. I have told my wife that if he is elected and is able to initiate he policies, we will quit work, let our houes go into forclosure then reap the benefits of those too lazy to work. The government will pay our mortgage, provide our medical coverage and give us a nice big check to live on. If the government will do all of that, why should I work? Like someone posted earlier, if I wanted to live under Socialism, I would move to Cuba.

Thom1s...you are soooo funny.
Sadly, I'm under 50 years old, therefore, I'm a "baby boomer", and marginalized and mocked by senile, geriatric, wheelchair cases like you.(and McCain)
What will you be complaining about about 10 years from now, when the "baby boomers" are all your age now?
Plan ahead, think of the future.

Wow, those not working are "too lazy" too work. I guess all those people getting laid off are lazy.

Even if you were too lazy to work, the amount of money you get from the government is not a "nice big check".

We already know that the richest in the US pay less percentage in taxes than middle and lower class.

The government spends much more on the big entities (remember the savings and loan scandals?) like the companies who are failing due to the bad loans they gave to people who weren't "too lazy to work", then they spend on those who live off welfare, even those that are "too lazy to work". Go after the big fish, not the little ones!

Senator Obama has a lot going for him. He has visited all 57 State's of the Union. He can draw a large crowd of Germans.
Not only that he knows we can skip all this drill for more oil nonsense by infating all the flat tires us nitwits drive around on. Yep, must be a super genius!

Pablo, you forgot to add being the "Commander OF Chief". OF what military, I don't know, certainly not the US. I would prefer a Proper Military Salute from a President than a Militant Salute--that's what we get with another Dem in office.

Something the predominant left wing media forgot to mention on Obamanations Kennedy speech in Berlin was, that pryor to the speech, a rock concert had ensued with two of the most popular bands in Germany. Do you think that crowd of 200K with such adulation were sober?
Sadly, our press missed that, but I read it in the London Daily Telegraph.

Of course that would mean that LT GOV Duke Aiona would become acting Governor for two years and run for the office as an incumbent in 2010.

If and when Sen. McCain loses Hawaii and the Presidential campaign in November, the election laws may permit her to return to Washington Place for the two years remainder of her term. What a scenario! Even if she loses, she wins by raising her national profile for a 2010 Senate race?

Will Sen. John McCain choose a female, Jewish, Governor with foreign affairs experince, with strong support for Israel, frequent trips to war zones, and trips to Asia to promote Hawaii and business? She does bring something that neither Gov. Romney nor Gov. Huckabee have in their credentials...first woman governor of her State. If you are going after women's vote this year, that wouldn't be lost in translation.

Well, who says that we still have a Democracy? Bush and Cheney thumbed their nose at the Constitution. We are spied on, illegally seized and held, tortured. We could always continue Corporate well fare. Did you see those latest CEO salaries and benefits on Maui? Large number of workers laid off at that company. That is happening all over America. Or American jobs could continue to be out sourced to the Phillipines such as Hawaiian Air. Call tech support for MSN and end up in India or South America. Really Patriotic these companies, huh? Tax those oil companies. About time. The oil profits at the expense of so many human beings deaths Iraq, American, etc. are obscene. How about those Bush tax cuts for the rich..big raise in Billionairs. Didn't help me. How about you? Universal Health Care is essential for America's citizens. Insurance companies and drug companies should not be controlling our right to affordable health care.
