C.P. Wong there was nothing the lawmakers could do to save Aloha because of poor management. ATA could not be saved because they lost a big major military contract.
They created their own demise. Lawmakers can't help them if they could not help themselves.

We don't need any studies done about gay couples people in Hawaii. It's a waste of taxpayers money............

Eh, Vernon, who cares about your "public administration courses" and what you forgot about or did not listen to. Djou is simply saying what we all think: Mufi is funneling our tax-payer money to his friends. Mufi is going to sink us into multi-bilion dollar debt and spend it on aged, noisey steel on steel technology. The council should pull the plug on this make work project for Mufi's campaign contributors. Djou is doing his job to speak out for all of us. This train is NOT going to alleviate traffic and Mufi's advertiser's need to be called out. How much are you going to get, Vernon Wong?

Electric bikes illegal - now that's a new one. I would venture that the Counties would form police task forces to monitor the illegal use and riding of these potent machines, all the while ignoring those vehicles which create such a racket as the zoom zoom tuner cars, crotch rockets, souped up mopeds and the ubiquitous back up alarm, all because some one is too lazy to pedal. More smart decision making by those part time inhabitants of the state capitol.

Charles Djou doesn't do much for his own district either. With his annual grand-standing vote against the city budget (every year for 6 years)his constituents are at the mercy of the Mayor to get projects (like the sewer repair in Waikiki and Niu) done at all.

When things get done in East Honolulu it is in spite of Cheap Charlie not because of him.
