Another group has arrived here, seem to be refugees from Katrina. The shack up with the micro women in govt. housing. Micro men are not around. Tonight it is really miserable out and the immigrants are safe inside the shelters. While the homeless a lot of whom were born here, were on the beaches late this afternoon. Hopefully the guy with the bus/dorms is around but I have never seen him out here. I usually feel that the remaining homeless are where they wish to be but nobody deserves how they are living this week.
The storm came in from the west several hours ago and now is passing over Makaha again, heading back west.
