Im def. in favor for the speculated 4% max. yearly school tax increase that the Gov. is thinking about passing. Its the only way to monitor and keep these schools under control with spending! Lets pass it now!!!

What is the matter with the GREEDY, CRAZY DISTRICT people?
Voters already voted. They voted NO on the INFLATED BUDGET.

Long Island districts present voters with constantly increasing budgets that far exceed anybody's wage increases.

Nobody can afford these HUGE DISTRICT BUDGETS anymore!
It is time to get rid of all those high-spending districts and
CONSOLIDATE.

Gee Newsday, did the Chicago journalist finally get the news about the revote midday or did you choose to bury it and cover it up with Britney Spears and Leona's dog decision ? Worthless paper.

Try selling your house in a town where the school district is in osterity. Good luck with that! The difference between a passed budget and a failed budget is like $100 per year, less than $10 per month. Think about that when you vote No and then your school district offers no sports, no after school activities, no summer school, larger class sizes. Now try selling your house to a family with kids and see how many offers you get. Vote YES! Please.

It should be illegal to ask for a revote without even modifing the proposal. These districts act like spoiled children.... they keep asking until they get their way!
Let's start the district consolidation now.

Vote NO on Pat-Med "revised"budget.
I would still like to know how a 4.12% increase in spending from last year somehow morphs into an almost 10% increase in my taxes?!!. When my tax increase is 4.5%, then I will vote yes. At the rate my taxes go up every year, in 5 years when maybe I can retire,my taxes on a little house in South Patchogue will be around $10,000. That's for a little 2 bedroom house on a tiny piece of property. Guess I am not retiring after all.

Why should governments be the only institutions to not have to live within their budget.

They could dump school busing for a start.

Lindenhurst is losing 300 students next year.Yet they want over 4 percent increase in taxes.looks like maybe 150 homes up for forclosure or people fed up and leaving this town.Bring common sense back and vote NO today.

What dope you are. So continue to abuse us is what you are saying, because its a soft punch. Well with the flurry of punches over the past years it adds up to a quite a hit. Voters take a stand, vote no. Don't be a pusze-e like this guy.

Some of us don't plan on selling in the next few years so that argument holds no water
