I hear things about Bossier Police being crooked, misconduct, etc.

Are some bcpd officers crooked or are they just a tough force?

You mean Beinville Parish la? Thats the place where this is happening and its not because they are a tough force because they run from the crooks and arrest the innocent! They only mess with people who they no pose NO treat to them or the community while the crackheads, theifs, rapist and ect run the roads!
Hell their police cars were even vandilized while parked infront of the police station, we talking about barney fife shit here...lol
Cant get outside help cause they all work together..

Bossier Police are the best. How can they not be with Kenny and Jimmy Viola on the force? They are the best!

BCPD tactics may be a bit heavy handed at times. However, if you look at the end results, Bossier City has a much lower crime rate then Shreveport. That is in no small part due to the fine job our police department is doing. I think we have one of the finest law enforcement organizations in the country. A big thumbs up.

bossier police are okay, wish the sheriffs department was as interested in helping solve crimes. My home was broken into on Christmas Eve while I was working. They havent' even returned my emails asking about this case.

We moved here a few months back from a larger city, where you constantly had to be afraid and looking over your shoulder because of crime. I didn't know how I would like a smaller place, but I LOVE it, because I feel safe.

I think the police dept is awesome and that they are doing a great job!! I have met only two: Chris Owens, and JL Rhode. They were professional, polite, and competent.

Quit bitching about our police force...yeah it has some corruption and crooked cops but we aren't half as bad as Shreveport's Police or their residents. Other than a drunk Chief we got rid of we were doing good fighting crime. I've done alot of questionable things that help fight crime but crooked I am not...so prove it or shut up.

I think they do a good job. However, they do spend too much time trying to catch people speeding, coming to rolling stops or whatever. Especially one particular officer in South Bossier. He is always parked somewhere along Barksdale Blvd. usually.
