Hey dumb*ss Our federal government can only do so much. The States scream when the Feds do anything they do not like. Even under the best of conditions.Unlike Canada down here a State, any State is expected to be able to take care of its day to day business.

Part of which is helping the recovery of the economic disaster that even you Canadians have had up there.

When the republican controlled legislation decide to do anything , but help it citizens in enabling them to go back to work. Instead propose bills such as the one in the article. That sends a message that the only thing the republican party cares about is interfering with a woman legal right.

If the republicans actually gave a d*mn about the people themselves. None of these bill would have ever been proposed. All these bills are designed to do is to give the prolife movements to get their single issue voters to vote for a republican.

The further to the right and further the disconnect with the American voter at large. The more the republicans are hurting their chances at ever being able to make an argument for working on the behalf of all of their constituents.

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Libra

There's a real thirst for adventure as Venus and Mercury zip through lively Gemini, but the burning question is how are you going to satisfy it? Maybe you fancy taking off on a journey, whether it's through a holiday, a day break or a long weekend. Or perhaps you have got to stay put, but you're going to send your brain on its travels instead by increasing your knowledge. Opportunities are never far away, either, so grab them whenever you spot them.
