Sea turtle lawsuit widens rift between fishermen in North Carolina
Sea turtles are at the heart of a controversy over North Carolina gill nets. Mike Gonzalez Commercial fishermen in North Carolina are angry and worried about the near future, as a lawsuit over sea turtle interactions and other regulatory challenges are threatening a possible removal of gill nets from the state's coastal waters.

How did the drum,specks,turtles,stripe bass,make there come back with the same gillnets in the waters during the recovery.People gill nets aren't the problem that the cca will lead you to believe.Just sit back and think how did these species come back strong with the same gillnets in the water during the recovery plan if gillnets were the mass destuctures that the CCA leads you to believe.These groups got there own agenda and the commercial fisherman aren't included in it
