What now North Carolina, Legislature??

From what I understand, as long as there is no beach access due to "conservation", then the government will not fund those areas for shoreline protection. It looks like this will eventually play out between the state and federal government.
Blame the Democrats if you want. But in the end, it all boils down to "How much are you costing the Feds, NC?" More people in federal government believe the sea level rise claims than dispute them. Heck, the NC legislature probably knows what's to come also. They are just hoping to pad their pockets from developer's coffers NOW. One hundred years from now, who cares?
