Losing one fifth of one percent of their business is going to bring them to their knees? Were talking 20 cents out of $100 in sales. Face it - fruitcakes are an insignificant market force.

I'm really sad to see so many people supporting the selling of our elections to the corporations.
I'd always hoped that was one thing we'd keep for 'we the people'. Oh well.:(

You raise a valid point the needs to be addressed.

We have a choice with corporations. We can choose whether or not to buy from them. We can boycott a corporation if we choose, for any reason. We have choices.

We do not have a choice with unions. A union can boycott us, but we cannot boycott a union. Unions can deprive us of transportation (in many forms), education for our children, fuel, electricity, medical care, police protection, fire protection, and more. These are just the Unions Government employees belong too! WE PAY THEM TO HOLD US HOSTAGE! What can we deprive them of? They take money directly out of our paychecks! Are we to boycott our own income and livelihood to deny them sustenance? Unions are parasites.

Unions have long been able to influence elections through endorsements, contributions and more nefarious means including violence and murder. Why should they get a voice in politics that is virtually immune from consequence? At least we have a choice with corporations!

Reading between the lines, it's okay for you if UNIONS buy the election. Typical hypocrisy from the left.
