Notice how the article was written by a PSL propagandist? They couldn't find a Sun News reporter with enough smarts who could write such a story.

The flight test was a spectacular success. I think
that congrats are in order, and the naysayers are just the great-grand-children of the Orville and Wilber Wright detractors doing their duty attempt to stand in the way of natural human progress. I wil bet that they opposed the Moon landing. Those people really need to join the Flat Earth Society.

This is propaganda, not news. PSL has the only FAA approved FTC because the people from the FAA that approved it (and gave them millions of $) then turned around and got on PSL's payroll. Management at PSL for this FTC have no experience in UAV, airspace or flight test engineering. Also, it seems that they cannot consistently follow established procedures since they failed a security audit, so my take on this "successful" test is "Who needs experience when you have luck and congressional earmarks?" With a string of failures including a spectacular balloon mishap in Australia that looked like the three stooges organized it, when will NMSU stop covering for these clowns? It's just a matter of time before somebody dies in one of their crashes...and it won't be them since these programs are unmanned.
