CD, I have a hard time believing that you, who seems to favor a less intrusive government, would want to legislate morality.
I do not agree with SSM, nor will I ever. This has nothing to do with the government, and little if anything to do with religion. I do NOT agree with SSM, period, regardless of what the government/courts/people say or do. Just because I accept that the law allows it doesn't mean I embrace/like it, it simply means I'll abide it. Is that concept that difficult for people to understand/accept? Does every issue facing us always have to be 100% agree/disagree, is there no compromise - not in the law but in my view of the issue overall?
