Dr. Kenneth Yaw?? Orthopedic Surgeon??
People always blame the system and parents being uneducated when it comes to child abuse. What is his excuse?

Yes, read the above web page on the Dr. to see that he "enjoys spending time with his family"? How ironic, isn't it?

He also "feels strongly about preserving life at all stages". Even locked in garages and trailers, I guess.

That is completely and utterly disgusting. Someone needs to get him naked, coat him with peanut butter, and leave his skinny white body in the middle of the desert on a hot summer day.

Sad. I hope they don't use whatever influence they might have to get away with this. We need foster parents in LC and here's a good reason why. Consider signing up. Kids need safe homes and good role models.

Here is a quote from Rita Starceski's website. The site itself has been taken down, but can be accessed using the Wayback Machine:

"Our family in our current household consists of 7 children. This is one more who is living away at school. The seven children at home get along very well. It took us some time to get there, for a while Nicholas and I had to live in a different house, this was while I was pregnant and it was a scary time. However the birth of Max really seemed to bring everyone together. And now we are living in a constant harmony of caotic bliss.Tis a journey."

What kind of "scary time" did they have when she was pregnant, where she had to live in a different house? Was there abuse in the home?

This is exactly why we should not allow gay marriage. Children need both a mother and a father.

Gay marriage? What article were you reading... probably something about the bliss a McCain Presidency will bring. Anyhow, Kenneth and Rita sound pretty hetero to me. Abuse is abuse, no matter who does it.

You have got to be kidding me. This is a Doctor, What kind of fool does this. I'll tell ya, A SICKO. Poor kids, This is just another idiot who thinks they are above everyone else. I sure hope that these girls are in better care now, and that they uderstand that it was nothing that they had done, just their parents are sicko's. The parents need to be put in a place with NO water, NO food, No AC, nothing. Why would a parent treat they children like they are not human is beyond me.

it hurts me to think that children are still being abused, in this wonderful country of ours. Don't these so-called parents know that eventually someone will find out about the abuse?
A good punishment would be to leave them in a locked room with no electricity, a loaf a bread, a jar of peanut butter, and a water bottle just like what he did to "his" children.

I have long advocated that people should not be allowed to have children, unless they pass a battery of tests, trying to determine if indeed, they can be fit parents. These folks would probably fail the test, given this klind of behavor. To me, not just everyone should be allowed to be parents, as evidensed by the state of much of the world today. Much like driving, parenting should be a priviledge, not a right!

What do you mean bad parents?

Good Christian parents know how to whip their children into submission. He should have beat them and hurt them too.

(In case you didn't get it, this is sarcasm...real Christians show their children love, demented wannabe Christians do this kind of stuff)
