Probation in lieu of prison time for a $500,000 fraud? Wow, that makes it worth the risk.

Judge Robert Robles and the DA's office should be ashamed of themselves for allowing these criminals to walk away with probation.

The criminals probably got out of court and high-fived each other as soon as they were out of sight.

Robles should have followed his "inclination".

By the way....what happens if these criminals DO NOT pay the money back to the Surgical Center?

Another encouragement by the Las Cruces judicial system and judges for these women to do the same thing again. Mark my words they will do it again.

Judge Robles must be living in a vacuum. These three women are going to make restitution for $500,000! Who does he think really believes they will? Judge Robles should be embarrassed to wear his robes and call himself a judge.

Wow! Judge Robles do you really believe that these women are worthy of probation. If they already tried to outsmart the system but got caught, don't you think by your criminal statistical data shows that they too will outsmart their probation. I am sure with this type of character from the women that the debt will not be paid back and that victim will have to continue to file with the Court more legal pledings to get this money paid back, thus tying up the Court with more paperwork and still the victim not getting paid back ever, while the CRIMINALS are free to commit yet another crime. Would the outcome of this case been the same if it had been men or had they not been friends with someone within the Court?

A fellow I knew here, not so well connected, was sentenced to 13 mos. in the NM penitentiary for stealing a 12 pack of beer from his neighbor, who didnt press charges. He died in prison. Justice is not only blind, but ignorant. Robles should go.

I remember awhile back hearing that Elsa was bragging that she didn't need her kids dad "measley" $200 in monthly child support. She was also driving around in a brand new Hummer. Isn't she embarrassed? And to boot...her myspace is public...with tons of pics of her on vacation and smiling. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...

In the myspace pic with DA Susanna Martinez, Elsa also appears to have had a boob job. I wonder if she needs the measely $200 in child support now? Will this go back towards paying the $500,000?

I know of a person who embezzled 5,000 from a doctor's office and is currently serving 8 years. Where was judge Robles then?
