That kinda sucks that you have to be bilingual. I think that in my country I should not have to be the one to be bilingual to cater to this group, the shoe needs to be reversed.

Completely agree with you--I hate having to push 1 for English. If we as a tourist were to travel to say Mexico, or France, or where ever I would at least learn the basics before I went. Its rude to not know the country's language that you are visiting/or living in--completely disrespectful.

Apparently if you can't speak Spanish in the US you aren't fit to hire now? Oh Bilingual doesn't mean Spanish English people. It could just as well be French English or Zulu English

Too bad you don't know how to write in even basic English. I guess that leaves you out of a lot of other jobs too?
Of course, you cannot take your television, Ho-Ho's, Bud Lite, Marboro Lights and earbuds with to the workplace, so you never apply anywhere other than head shops and tattoo parlors.
Maybe if enough shoes went up your backside, you could get that good ole American motivation?

Great opportunity since we are the great american melting pot. However, the what they dont tell you is that for 9.75 an hour you have to deal with an incompetent Manger "Robert Martinez" who thinks he owns the place and things you are overpaid. We interpret for several high profile companies like Disney, Target, ATT we take 911 Calls, Hosptiasl Allstate Utilites from half of the Unites States Utility Companies and all this for 9.75 and so called free benefits that somehow get taken out of your checks wit ridiculous high rates suck as 123.00 per pay period.

They say the welcome veterans and disabled people and they don't even have proper facilities for disabled people and did I mention when you get a call if it is a 3 hour call you have to remain seated and are never allowed to stand up. My co worker is a disabled lady and she is like a mother to all of us and this asshole Robert Martinez the manager just has it out for her she makes her sit and regardless the medical notes she brings and he picks on all the old ladies so if I see that fucker on the street he will no what SUR13 is about the fucker even hires felons and we are a so called confidential center were your SS Numbers are jeopardized all the time. Ops and did I mention that those American express numbers with all the credit card holders who pay for the 25000 dollar vacations get used by certain employees on shopping sprees. Yes they suck and hire felons so come and apply all you have to do i speak Spanish interpret all day long get some credit card numbers and job until you drop there is no control and is for the Manager just make sure you are from Texas he is a UTEP fan and hates Aggie shit in our workplace he hates las cruces that is why he loves living in Horizon City Texas he hates what he calls us Las Curcens Commoners.

We need local jobs were the supervisors are from Las Cruces not from El paso and his friends fuck that fool Drive by Cyracom this week and trahs that Texas big Ford truck of his send him pack to texas close down cyracom pass the word lets show these companies that there in New Mexico and lets show them what we are worth

I think that the company should be a better work place for the employees.I mean personally i worked for that company and shit. And let me tell you who was the best manager and understandable was Celina Ramirez and Lucio Noyola.I miss those old days were everybody had there jobs and didn't get fired for some stupid ass shit.
I mean i cant complain the work was stressful and let me tell all of ya.That a interpeter makes starting fucking 26.00 to 30.00 a muthafucken hour and thats federal. But i think it's time for employees to stand up and put an end to that bullshit you know guys there are laws out there that will protect your rights all i gots to say dept of labor discrimination.
Know i have learned something not all bosses are the same there are good ones and let me tell you something that i have a wonderfull boss and his name is mike from RDD field services great people there by the way. I don't go to work fraustrated or anything like that.

Well I'm not quite sure how I stumbled across this posting, but my goodness did I have a hell of a laugh. Those of you opposed to Bilingualism sound so ignorant. Don't be so close-minded. It does you well to learn a new language! I took it upon myself to learn Spanish and Arabic, and they've been a great help to me. Countries around the world learn English to accommodate us. Honestly you know it is difficult to learn a new language, it takes time and practice. Don't be so quick to judge and think before you speak. Silly people.
Sincerely, "A nineteen year old has more sense than you".
