Okay, let me understand this, most of NASA programs have been basically scrapped under this administration, but we are now funding Virginís mess? Why was this money not put towards job creation?? Governor Susanna Martinez had no problem getting rid of everything & everyone associated with former Gov. Bill Richardson yet the Spaceport would have been the best thing she could have gotten rid of. Richard Branson has more than enough money to finance this bullshit $209 million is peanuts to Branson, why the hell should we be funding it. This little project has cost the NM tax payer only $209 million dollars...& apparently the hold up is they need yet more money from the you & I NM taxpayer to complete this endeavor that no one other than millionaires & billionaires will get to use or enjoy. Yes folks, once again the NM taxpayer gets to finance something none of us will be able to use. A spaceport paid with our NM tax dollars so multimillionaires can have fun for a day or two while you & I continue going to our jobs day in & day out to finance this kind of bullshit. Since Bill Richardson, Sir Richard Branson (Virgin Galactic), NM Officials who voted yes, & Governor Susanna Martinez all seem to think it's such a wonderful thing then perhaps they can all split the bill & fund it...other than Branson, just watch how quickly & suddenly it becomes not so great an idea. There are so many things in our state that $209 million dollars could go towards & a spaceport isn't one of them. Quit wasting my money.

Article in ABQ Journal shows NM has competition and includes numbers on how many people worldwide can afford a ticket to this almost-an-astronaut spacecamp. www.abqjournal.com/289536/news/more-states-jo...
Former paypal exec Michael "ritzy" Blum has a ticket to fly and sees a need for luxury to expand to the hospitality industry in this dust bowl so he can impress his fan club entourage on his adventure. No he isn't seeing an investment opportunity to make the changes himself. Let that tell you something.

This is not a amusement park ride for the wealthy. 180 degree the opposite. A means to promote private industry to explore new horizons. Returns on this investment will indeed skyrocket Southern New Mexico towards economic wealth and independence. Endeavors like this take meticulous time and planning. Be patient your children and their grandchildren will be so grateful.
