And for five years the plans for visitor centers keep changing. New Spaceport Director, new plan.

Now they will be owned and developed by third parties, not by T or C nor Hatch (i.e., no control or input).

The future isn't what it used to be!

The welcome centers in T or C and Hatch were never going to be owned by the respective cities. It would make these postings much more meaningful if the posters would check their facts before spouting theoir bullshit.

once the road from the I 25 exit to the sp is paved you'll see a visitor center..right there..until that happens..it will be a constant game of stall stall stall.

No "truckstop" is going to appear. with lc and soc-or-roo being two hours apart..who will want to get off the road after an hours driving for a "rest stop"..as it is the state in their wisdom closed the off highway rest areas in Sierra county with a number of fatal shoulder collisions passing by without a breath of blame for no rest stops in that area.

As it goes..real estate and special interests govern New Mexico. Nothing to see here..keep driving
