It's sad though that a 20 year old can't be trusted to drink. So instead, she has to binge on booze, hiding behind closed doors and leading directly to over-consumption.

If she were allowed to drink at a bar or with friends in an open and legal setting, this wouldn't have happened. The girl is an adult and if society doesn't treat her like one, how can we expect her to act like one.

Lower the drinking age!

When Kelly Under, 20, of Springfield turns 21 can they still arrest her because she'll be known as Kelly Under 21, of Springfield?

You think that if she were able to drink in a bar or with friends that this would not happen... you are completely wrong! It does not matter where a person is if they are legal or in public it still happens more often than you think.
As for friends you have to hope they are true friends that will help and say hey its not to stop... and not friends that enjoy watching someone get trashed and make fools of themselves.

Without the college kids, Shippensburg would be nothing. The businesses would fail, the value of housing would plummet, there would be less jobs, yada yada.

If you moved to Shippensburg that was your choice knowing there was a college there. Any college town faces the same issues which Shippensburg has. IUP, Bloomsburg, Slippery Rock, etc are much worse in comparison to Shippensburg.

i agree with lowering the age. the goverment will send you 5000 miles across the world and give you a gun to kill someone at the age of 18 but the same person cant go to a resturant and have a cold beer to wash down their steak.
