Ok, so this character can't tell the difference between a wild animal and a calf?!? then he has no business hunting anything! The fact that he butchered and hid the evidence and lied about it shows he knew what he did was wrong.

Back in the old days they'd shoot rustlers, if I had lost a valuable animal to a rustler like this I think I'd have been justified in eliminating that threat.

He's a petty lying thieving turd. He deserves jail, he should get some.

Wow as a family member of the victims I know how much their cattle mean to them. This is a livelihood for this family. The man not only killed a calf, but took away a part of their income. Does that even matter to any of you critics out there who say this incident isn't worth people getting upset over. As Nutty said, this guy butchered the calf and hid the evidence after he so called "hunted" the calf down. If it was a simple hunting accident, why cover up the crime?

This man should have justice served to him. As far as his character goes. There are a lot of mass murders whose neighbors, friends and family never knew what they were doing. So, just because he has this outward persona, doesn't mean that he isn't a crass man who had a vendetta out for a neighbors farm.

Look at the facts, and don't just jump to conclusions about this mans persona and this "just being a cow"
