Lieberman is a hypocrite and a liar who told us he was a life-long Democrat and always would be, who told us that he wanted to be re-elected because he wanted to help elect a Democratic president and a Democratic congress, then turned around and did everything he could to prevent Democrats from being elected.
He is a national disgrace. Only deluded Republicans still support him. Good thing that there are so few of that weird type of person in this state.
You truly expect him to honor that after what the party did to him? You think he wants to spend the rest of his life with a party that turned it's back on him?

There are "so few" of that "weird type?" Ummm...you do realize the state carried Lieberman last Democratic primary and election, right? Lol! And you're calling others "delusional?" roflmao!!! God bless Connecticut libtards!

The Connecticut Democratic Party is so friggin stupid for even letting this resolution which is a joke and should be used for toilet paper.

The Blondin/Wantanabe resolution is a joke and is being used to prop up Blondin's political ambitions in 2010 and to build up the egos of the liberal blogs: like My Left Nutmeg and Hat City Blog.

I hope this resolution fails as it will be a kick in the teeth to these pathetic chumps and morons using it to destroy and deface Joe Lieberman who is a better US Senator than Chris "Countrywide Lover" Dodd or that sphinkter from Greenwich who is humping everyone legs and trying to buy a US Senate Seat.

Lamont should go to Illinois and buy Obama's seat.

The National Democtaic Party wants nothing to do with this debacle. They've left it up to the locals who will hoot and holler much like a story told by an idiot; full of sound and fury yet signifying nothing. In the end the loudest and most vociferous will take a step up in party leadership. It's how things are done in the politcal party. Jason Bartlette will be right there I'm sure
Jason Bartlett is a weasel and an a** clown Got Love those Liberals in Danbury and Bethel who supported this idiot.

blame lieberman for voting 90% with the democrats up until 2006? then you liberals run a candidate against him? 90% is good enough for this Democrat - at least he isnt afraid to speak his mind
-lieberman spoke out against barak the communist not democrat
-many democrats against barak

barak is not a democrat
-he is communist
-explains the contradiction between his alleged democrat stance and communist/elitis/for the rich guy ideology in broken promises
-communist nations have large discrepancy between rich and poor -there is no middle class -the government officials are the wealthy

throughout communist history, a charismatic leader takes advantage of youth and the uninformed to get to power
-after it becomes an autocracy for the rich

Dick Cheney will be presiding over the January Congressional meeting to certify the Electoral votes.

-get dissents from state congressmen and senators
-both republican and democrats
-share concerns about barako

democrats can't turn down majorit to install simple natural born vetting procedure

Call Members as many and much as possible between now and Jan. 8:

There are essentially two telephone numbers you need to know when trying to call a member of Congress. They are the switchboard numbers for both the House and Senate. For both numbers, simply request the name of the Member and the operator will patch you through.

Senate: www.senate.gov
House: www.house.gov

"That does not mean that all hope is lost for those seeking to challenge the eligibility of John McCain, Barack Obama, or future presidential candidates. There are other avenues through which the issue might be adjudicated. The most plausible is an action in state court challenging an allegedly ineligible candidate’s access to the ballot, which would not present the same justiciability obstacles. Though state-court challenges to a presidential candidate’s eligibility raise concerns about consistency and political bias, the U.S. Supreme Court’s appellate jurisdiction in such cases would provide a check against such abuses. In the event that a renegade state court wrongly disqualified a presidential candidate, or that there were an interstate conflict over a particular candidate’s eligibility, the Court would have a vitally important role to play in resolving the issue. Another possibility is that Congress could decide the eligibility of a presidential candidate through its constitutionally assigned role in counting Electoral College votes. The existence of these two alternative means to adjudicate a presidential candidate’s eligibility strengthens the arguments against the justiciability of the federal lawsuits filed to date."

Joe Lieberman is an honest man of character and conviction. Too bad there aren't more people in the "central committee" has communist ring to it, that don't have those same attributes. to censure him for that is what is wrong with politics in America today. It's all about the party and not the country.
If JL is an honest man, I wonder what you consider loyalty is. Just because he's a Jew doesn't make him a good person. And to accuse someone of being a communist just because you disagree with them is what makes you a communist. I guess you're don't know anything from the McCarthy days. There was a time when they would hang a person like Lieberman. He may have some attributes but character, honesty, and conviction are not it. Perhaps there's room for him where you live and I'll even contribute money towards a one way ticket.

The qualification of birth is one of the most ridiculous argument against competencies. What makes someone loyal is not what ethnicity they possessed but who they are. This is why we have problems during WWII with German-Americans and Japanese-Americans. If you want to argue about the technicalities of law, where were you when this administration trampled on the constitution? No wonder no one likes lawyers.

W was born in New Haven,CT, thinks he's a Texan and ran every company (see Arbusto, Spectrum7 energy corp, & Harken-where he served on the board and committed security fraud) he has touched to the ground, including USA corporation. One can argue that his loyalty is to the Saudis rather than America. Besides, the issue of Obama/McCain's birth has already been settled by the court.

YES he is CLEARLY INDEED a Democrat!
Stick that in your politburo and smoke it.
I thank him for supporting idiotic attempts to end the war badly, and for supporting McCain. at least he has more spine than 98% of his (Democratic) party. But the rest of his voting record is pure liberal democratic union-stroking crapola. Proud to say I did NOT vote for him last time around. What a laugh that the leftist nuts can't stand him not being mindlessly lockstep in line with them; they threw him under the bus so they could all feel good about being little "anti-war" (that's pro-Sunni-genocide) Lamont-niks.

oops, that's OPPOSING idiotic attempts to end the war badly, and SUPPORTING McCain. No way to preview or edit.

How ironic that Obama now, at least tacitly, supports a long-term "noncombat" presence in Iraq. As we have done in Germany and Korea. Which is PRECISELY what McCain was talking about with his "100-year" offhand remark. Smoke that too.

Whether I "like" Lieberman is not the issue.
He has not performed as a member of the Democratic party.
He will not change his feathers now. Same old rooster.
He didn't lie about it: he ran as an Independent. So let him live in the Senate as an Independent. Just take his precious committee away from him. That's the one where he can try to lead the US into war in order to protect the "Homeland." I wonder which "Homeland" he is thinking of.(Remember this is the guy who wants to go after Iran to protect Israel.) What else has he done lately???
