Joe Lieberman is an honest man of character and conviction. Too bad there aren't more people in the "central committee" has communist ring to it, that don't have those same attributes. to censure him for that is what is wrong with politics in America today. It's all about the party and not the country.

Anyone running as a third party candidate on the local level
would be thrown out of the party, there might be a rule that
you cannot use the word democrat if you run as an independent.
Not enough demcrats with balls to do anything or challenge
the dual country Lieberman.

"But the resolution now calls for an admonishment and expression of disapproval and disappointment, Blondin told the Republican-American of Waterbury."

Poor guy. He'll probably have to endure some glaring looks and simple jokes for a few weeks, but it'll be back to business as usual: letting Connecticut down, once again.

Lieberman is a hypocrite and a liar who told us he was a life-long Democrat and always would be, who told us that he wanted to be re-elected because he wanted to help elect a Democratic president and a Democratic congress, then turned around and did everything he could to prevent Democrats from being elected.

He is a national disgrace. Only deluded Republicans still support him. Good thing that there are so few of that weird type of person in this state.

As I see it, Lieberman let down the Democratic party for endorsing a man who has completely different core views than those of the democratic party. I understand his support of the war. I don't agree with it but I respect his opinion. But his support of mccain just shows his opportunist tendencies.

I'm a lifelong Democrat.

Blondin and Wantanbe are two of our party's most left-wing extremists. If Obama listened to points of view such as theirs' he'd still be a community organizer.

They are simply crazed for ANY chance to let others hear their views.

Fortunately, most in our party have more sense.

I hope this worthless piece of garbage resolution goes down to a glorious defeat.

This is just a power grab by Blondin to push a possible candidacy for Lt Governor or Secretary of The State in 2010.

But everyone knows why this is being done and it isnt about getting rid of Lieberman it is called getting free press.

The democrats need to start rebuking Obama and hand him the Land of OZ speaking award for the most "uh's" uttered by a president in a news conference in answering the press corps...between his "uh's" and "Now look," it's obvious to the world that Obama doesn't think quickly on his feet and he never has the facts...it's the old "we'll come back to that later."
At least Lieberman says his piece, is well-informed and would have made a much better president than Obama...and with the Gov of Illinois about to spill the beans on Obama...we may be inaugurating someone else in January.

I like Lieberman. Even if he is a democrat..the same way I like Zell Miller. These are men who are moderate, conservative democrats (there really IS a such thing) who aren't partisan when it comes to the issues. Lieberman's statement to the country was that the democrats were leaning TOO far to the left. Obama must agree as he has pretty much chosen few leftist for his cabinet and it appears as if he may be a true centrist. Ok, the last statement was truly wishful thinking, but only time will tell.

The CT Democratic Party should wake up and remember that THEY are the ones who kicked Joe to the curb in his last election, and WE, the citizens and VOTERS of CT, ELECTED him anyway. Just because the Democrats won big this past November doesn't me the citizens of CT will tolerate this foolish and vindictive nonsense.

So we're basing how knowledgeable a candidate is on how many "uhs" they use? So by the same token can we say McCain is ignorant because of the number of times he says "my friends" or "joe the plumber"?

It's nice to know that Connecticut Democrats have their priorities straight: squash all divergent points of view from the party line before tending to the various crisis that face our state.

You have an appropriate name.

It was a broad coalition of Democrats, Republicans and Independents (the largest group of registered voters in the state) who re-elected Lieberman.

The National Democtaic Party wants nothing to do with this debacle. They've left it up to the locals who will hoot and holler much like a story told by an idiot; full of sound and fury yet signifying nothing. In the end the loudest and most vociferous will take a step up in party leadership. It's how things are done in the politcal party. Jason Bartlette will be right there I'm sure

But Joe's country is Israel, not the U.S. That is why he is such a war monger willing to sacrifice American lives and money to protect his country.

I bet Ned and Swannie and all the liberal slime will be at DSCC tonight supporting The Blondin-Wantanbe Bill which will be strongly defeated.

it was just a publicity stunt for Blondin's future political moves in 2010 she is waiting for someone to ask her to be Lt Governor or for Bysiewicz to run for Governor in 2010.

The A** clown bloggers who supported Lamont just want to keep kicking Lieberman for their own devious and bad intent purposes.

Connecticut democrats will punish him because he left the party AFTER the party turned its back on him first. But of course, Democrats will hold onto whatever manufactured scenario they created to rail against him. Lieberman is no longer a Democrat, so why do the Democrats have their panties in a bunch???

And it's a big mystery to Connecticut Democrats why he went running and screaming to the other side. Who wouldn't?

So, what's Ned been up to these days? Haven't hard from him in a while.
