Full story: Lowell Sun

Chelmsford Town Clerk Betty Delaney may have violated state election rules by allowing Republican Party official Peter Dulchinos to review U.S. Senate candidate Jim Ogonowski's nomination papers.

This is only one of many reasons why Chelmsford is potentially the most corrupted town in MA. The only reason why Ogonowski is being denied a ballot is because they know that Kerry is VULNERABLE and they are trying to protect their
lifelong DemoKrat in office. The Democratic party (if you even want to call it that, socialist is more like it) has run this state into a fiscal nightmare. It has driven towns to the brink of bankruptcy with its Union backing and overpaid
salaries. Chelmsford is a poster child for everyhting thats wrong with America, Overpaid Supt of Schools, Overpaid Teachers and IT staff, corrupted officials,
lackluster school committee, its endless.

Oganowki's claim of false allegations is invalid. Dulchinos signature was forged based on his affidavit. Crimes against the constitution should be taken seriously. The fact that Preston states that someone signed the nomination papers as devil dog demonstrates how incompetent the Oganowski team is.

Jack, have you had any experience with the process? Generally, a volunteer stands outside a supermarket or something similar asking people walking out for their signature to get the candidate on the ballot. The people are not asked for ID by the volunteer, they are trusted to be honest. There is nothing stopping someone from putting a fake name (like Devil Dog) and address if they don't want to give away their personal info, but don't want to be rude to the volunteer either. They should just politely decline, but I believe things like this happen frequently.

I used to ask for signatures outside supermarkets. Dracut voter is 100% correct... This is why they are later certified...to weed out the incorrect and false names.
I guarantee you 100%, the other candidate had just as many false names on his papers. The fact that he is bringing it up is just a smear tactic.

A well run campaign would review all submissions for completeness. This process would pick up on a name like this. I agree that no ID is required for a signing the nomination papers in a public place.
But to have the name of dead people on the papers requires an intent to
attain certifcation.

I have been involved in campaigns at local and state level and the nomination forms are never reviewed before turning in to Town Registrar. There is no reason to review. They are going to throw out about 15%of the signatures for a variety of reasons. I have never met anyone on any campaign staff that falsified a signature. There is no reason to do it. It is so easy to get a few more legitimate signatures so as to not have to worry about having enough.

Why is he/she an idiot? Is it because they are voicing an opinion in contradiction to yours? Is that not their right as an American? Freedom of Speech? or are you a hard line Socialist from the democratic (sic) party as they stated? State your case instead of just saying, dah! your an idiot.... I would seriously look in the mirror while you say that.

Scott is an idiot because he wrote "your" instead of the proper "you're" contraction for "you are" .... Your is the possesive form for you. Must be a CHS student. I hear they've already cut back on grammar classes because the override failed.

This is all a fine example of how the Mass. Republican Party is dead on arrival.

This state might not be so bad if the Republicans could get their act togethor. But no, instead we have them eating each other up even before the primary really begins.

Real smart...

English is not required to be a teacher in MA. The Supt of Schools in 1 MA city (Lawrence) could not even pass the English test.

Jim Ogonowski will be at the Topsfield Fair facility on June 12th at 6:30 PM.

Please join us to meet Jim and support his run for U.S Senate.

It is time for a real change in this state!

Time to speak ENGLISH FIRST, Time to WORK for a living and not look for a handout, Time to cut taxes TO THE PEOPLE WHO PAY THEM, Time to stop PAYING women to have unlimited babies for a check (FUTURE GANG MEMBERS, INC), Time for a NATIONAL ID CARD, Time to VOTE!

There is NO such thing as FREE health care! Your costs have gone up because you are paying for everyone else who does not carry insurance! Remember the STATE Hospitals? That was started as a government way to provide health care to those less fortunate. Now what are State Hospitals? They are a place to put connected uninsurable doctors (not all, but many) who could not exists on their own. Great care!!! Do you want that expanded, again?

It is time to clean up government all around and get involved in your city or town!

Too bad he's not on the ballot. With such a hard time getting signatures, it's probably a good thing. Ho would nt get anything done, even if he could beat Kerry, which he can't!

D-Day. Put up or shut up. Ogonowski is crossing the finish line on a stretcher and may not have enough which suits me fine. Jeff Beatty has enough and is a better candidate to take on Kerry.
