Two teenagers were arrested for breaking into cars and trying to burn at least one of them early Saturday at two of the city's apartment complexes occupied by mostly elderly residents, police said.

something needs to be done to stop the rash of break-ins. they should be hard on these kids and any body else caught doing this... or, go easy on them and tell us they learned their lesson.

I find it amazing that the bigots aren't all over this because the names aren't Hispanic. If the names were Rodriguez or Sanchez all of the racists would be out in force. "People are strange when you're a stranger".

Make them pay personally out of pocket for every car that was damaged and make them do community service to help the elderly. And then give them a short sentence so they can see what their life is going to be behind bars if they don't wise up.
How cowardly to go after the property of older people, those who are on fixed incomes and can barely afford to make ends meet.
They have no respect for themselves or their families to do such a thing.

I am definately on board with that.
If their parents were forced to pay for the damages on these vehicles, maybe they would learn a lesson the old fashioned way by dad.
Nothing wrong with putting the fear of God into these brats to bring them around to reality.

Hey oops, whether hispani,white,or any other nationality,wrong is wrong.
If you feel that hispanics are being unfairly treated, then its because their names just seem to show up in the police logs more.
The fact that everybody else also makes no distiniction between black or white, but that when you "step out of line" and are caught,you need to face the consequences of your actions.

Drama at the Green... Can't say I'm sorry to hear about it. It's not that I support vandalism or violence, but I can think of a few tenants and employees who deserve it and more. I am curious who the "victims" were.

Someone who is on crack so bad. that has all ready sold it to the scum suckin store befor for 5.00 a can . I think they should go after the stores that buy the stolen goods as well as the person who did the steeling.This man is realy sick , his own kid,(baby). Lock him, and keep him for at least 2 years.
