Looks to me like the flood gates are going to cause neighborhoods (Woodmere & Spanish Oaks) to flood! The storm surge is to stop @ just before the Lapalco bridge. Where is all that water to go! There are plenty of 'future floodwalls'. In the meantime are we in greater jeopardy? Check out this link showing graphic of design
