As long as she is qualified, just to make history is a poor reason

Jim, you don't live here do you? If you had ever met this police officer you would know she was qualified. She if very professional, and diligent. This is a well deserved promotion.

Yes she is qualiied and quite frankly some of the towns youth know they shouldn't mess around when she is on patrol. However, she should be careful about future off site meetings with one of the selectmen. Could create problems?

Politics involved? Off site meeting? and i thought ALL things were considered, not just a good score. Seems kinda fishy to me. Is she going to move nearer to town as required?

We are very lucky to have such a dedicated and capable LEO. Ms. Cromwell, thank you also for your service as a US Marine. It is truly refreshing to see a young person giving so much to their country and community. I and my family are in your debt.
