Did the author attend the forum that was supposedly insulting?
The forum was held for informational purposes. Why is it insulting to those who attended it, because they couldn't be heard?
And because a measure was put to Special Town Meeting means it is being handled distastefully? These characterizations do not make sense, and they detract from a reasoned debate. A Town Meeting is a legitimate democratic process and people will vote on it. Why is that distasteful?
